Hooray Bobinogs! by
lucy-lu
Just thought I'd say a little hooray for Bobinogs, (a TV show aimed at
toddlers/pre-schoolers here in the UK on CBeebies (a BBC channel for small
kids)) before the whole world flames them!
They had a feature on babies today, which started with 3 months old Cara.
They showed her bathing, sleeping...

Breastfeeding poop question... (sorry if TMI) by
KR
Hi everyone,
My second daughter is 3 months old now and seems to be breastfeeding
well, gaining lots of weight, having lots of wet diapers and at least 1
poopy one a day! I've noticed the past couple days that her poop is
really runny and doesn't have the seedy look that it did just last
week. ...

UnGaaar!! by
lucy-lu
I was just wondering if your babies make a specific sound when they want
feeding... When Jessica's hungry, she shouts Ungaaar!!! When she was
first born and I was breastfeeding her, she'd make a cute ef ef ef
sound, which i miss... now she just shouts ungaaar and munches :)

Normal or not? Acne+rash, fussiness, screaming, sleeplessness, etc by
cjra
I've looked on kellymom.com which has been useful, but everything is
either normal or a sign of a problem.
My 6wk old next Monday daughter got baby acne last week. Normal. But
now it looks more like a big rash across her face. very red. It's also
spread to her neck, ears, head, and upper chest....

Yay Breastfeeding! 4mo update by
Nikki
The boys are doing so well I couldn't contain myself and so decided to post
an update since we had their 4mo appointment.
The breastfeeding is going amazingly well. They both only seem to nurse
when they are hungry. This is so nice for me. It makes nursing two very
manageable. They also...

Coil and breastfeeding by
lucy-lu
Hi all,
I've decided that at my 8 wk check up at the doctors (for DD and me) where
contraception is discussed, I am going to ask to have the coil.
I've tried Googling for more info, and I'm still a little in the dark about
certain areas, I'm wondering if you can help...
Will it affect...

couple things - should I worry? by
Cheri Stryker
DS2's been doing a couple things I've been wondering whether I should
worry about, so I thought I'd ask here if they were common.
Firstly, he sometimes seems to aspirate the milk, when he's eating.
He'll be eating, and then pull off and coughs, definitely sounding like
he swallowed wrong. It...

LAM v. mini-pill by
Carlye
DS is exclusively breastfed, but I don't fit all the "requirements" of
LAM as birth control, because he occassionally sleeps through the
night. However, following DD's birth, I didn't ovulate for sixth
months after starting her on solids, feeding her only every 4-8 hours,
etc.
Anyway, my OB said...

Breast feeding occurs -- world does not end! by

What about EBM on flights? by
[email protected]
I'm flying soon and I'd like to take some EBM in a bottle for DS for
the flight. They are confiscating liquids. Not sure what to do about
this...as I'd like not to have to DUMP my milk if I bring it.
Anyone know?
Thanks.

Cloth diapering - diapers don't fit with wraps? by
cjra
Maybe it's just us...
I have Chinese pre-folds, newborn size, and a number of wraps - bummis,
kushies, all newborn size. The diapers seem *way* too big for the
wraps, and at the same time we can't seem to get them in right so that
each poop stays on the diaper and not on the wrap, or is this...

Ok, girls, I need serious help...
I'm about 5 weeks pregnant with #2, #1 will be one year old on Thursday
and is not ready to wean, and breastfeeding her HURTS. It hurts as bad
as it did when we first started nursing. I wince every time she
