Parents havn't worked in 3 years! by
?about it
I know a girl with an almost 4 year old. She does not work. Her husband does not work. He used to have a high paying job, but was fired when the company was sold over 3 years ago. They had just bought a new $360k house right before he was fired. They defaulted on payments on everything, and lost it...

Kids calling other kids "gay" as an insult-how to handle? by
Donna Metler
"Gay" seems to be the current insult in fashion among my elementary students
(8, 9, 10 yrs old). While, obviously, I don't want children saying things to
insult others (and have used this as my argument-that we don't use words
which hurt other's feelings, and calling someone "Gay" can hurt...

Update on my granddaughter by
toto
Thanks for all your helpful comments.
Well, cross your fingers. So far she has slept here for
two nights and wakened only once each night. The first
night she cried a while and had a sippy cup, but went
back to sleep. Last night she actually got put down half
awake in the bed and fell asleep...

Toddler Bed Help by
Angie
I bought a toddler bed for my son but he's scared of it. I have no idea what
to do.
Moving him back to his crib is not an option, so I need other options. Any
ideas?

Advice Please (x-posted) by
toto
As many of you know my granddaughter is very tiny and
has been having eating problems and sleeping problems
since she was born.
Her mom is due with the second baby very soon (Mar 22).
The nutritionist who evaluated her today gave advice that
I sort of agree with, but that I wonder if anyone here...

NBC on Diana by
St. Matthew
Last night's airing of the heretofore secret Diana tapes contained 2
disclosures I think the network might have done well (polite) to have
refrained from airing: Diana's description of her post-partum
depression after her first son's birth, & her disclosure that Charles'
first proclamation when...

Early Potty Training - any books on this? by
Rosie
Are there any books on early potty training?
I've seen one on 'natural toilet training' or nappy-free living, but
wondered if there was anything on the changes in potty training over the
last 50 years, or about how potty training used to be done in earlier
generations (e.g. my mum's, where they...

Should daughter be invited to bday party of same-aged cousin? by
Allie
Hi, I am so glad I found this board because I really need help and
direction! Last year, my sister-in-law had a birthday party for her 5
year old twins and did not bother to invite my 7 year old and 5 year
old children. My feelings were sorely hurt as we had always attended
each other's kids'...

Hi Guys,
I'm helping a good friend take care of their little one and we're
starting to think that she may have a problem with reflux. We're going
to see the doctor next week but I want us to be educated before
we go in.
Basically her DD sleeps on her side & doesn't like sleeping on her
back or...

Nice Website by

You have a great website. It just stresses the importance of taking and
preserving family photographs.
Hoever, on this page, the photos entitled "1969 August" and "1970 me in
Watertown" appear to be the same picture, with different colorations. Is
this a...
