Pregnancy Meditations by
Mahala
I've been making and selling guided meditation CDs on Ebay for a year or so
now, but since I became pregnant, I've made a new range to focus on various
aspects of pregnancy.
There's a 3 CD set - one CD for each trimester, each with three meditations
and a gift set which includes the Cds as well as...

Silent reflux by
Ilse Witch
also posted at am, mkb
I don't know who was crying harder this night, me or DS2. He is having
increasing problems that point in the direction of silent reflux. This
means he has all the symptoms of reflux, except he doesn't vomit, he
swallows everything back down. He's getting progressively worse...

How often do pushchairs/buggies/travel systems get stolen? by
[email protected]
We bought a new travel system which cost about =A3250 for our new baby.
When we go out to eat most restaurants insist that we leave it (the
buggy!) by the door.
This is fair enough in a busy restaurant where space is tight, but has
got me a bit paranoid about getting it stolen. My push bike costs...

another gestational diabetes question/issue! by
V.
I know this is an often discussed issue, so much so that I can't seem
to find answers for this specific question because a search just turns
up too many hits!
I had the one hour glucose test and thought I passed because they never
called me. Went in to see the midwife today and she told me that...

Birth story (v. v. long) by
Jamie Clark
From: "Emily"
Subject: Birth story (v. v. long)
One thing I've been doing that I read about here on mkp (can't
remember who wrote it, though -- Nikki maybe?) is to make a point
of telling DS2 in DS1's hearing that he has to wait a moment while
I do xyz for DS1. Of...

ultrasound question by
ECM
Does anyone know how accurate ultraosunds are in determining the age of
fetus? And, when they tell you "age of fetus," is that from the time of
conception? Any input is greatly appriciated. Thanks all!

RFI: Software for NFP by
Mark
Hi all,
First of all, let me say sorry for the cross post.
My girlfriend and I have decided to start using the NFP method as a means of
contraception. What software, if any, are you using to tract your fertile
days?
I'm thinking about writing some free software to do the tracking and
guesswork.....

when to call the ped? by
emilymr
Micah's had a runny nose/cough for the last 3 weeks; it varies as to
intensity, but it hasn't gone away, either. He's acting fine -- he's
sleeping well, eating a ton, is as active as ever, and generally seems
pretty happy -- so I haven't called the dr. on it. Oh, just to add to the
data points:...

Lead test for paint? by
KR
Is there any way to test a paint to see if it contains lead? We are
debating buying a bedroom set that is painted, it is 27 years old
though. We would really like to refinish it to be wood stained rather
then painted.
Of course, I'm pregnant so can't be around lead when it's getting
sanded. ...
