FAO: Larry by
[email protected]
Hi Larry, Good to "see" you at rec.running. I'm training for few races
these days. I'm still bf my 2 yo couple of times a day. She's too
adamant for me to even start thinking of weaning. but weaning is
something I have to do pretty soon. Just don't know how :)

pumpimg question by
chris
Hi all!
Is it normal to have a low yield when you first start
pumping?
I have a PIS and tried pumping in the morning on the
breast that my son didn't nurse on. Yesterday was the
first time at this and we got a whapping 3/4th of an
ounce. Today, other breast, same amount.

need breastfeeding advice by
Me
Hi, I like breasts and I was wondering if any of you women could post some
pictures of your breasts, or maybe you and your baby breastfeeding? I would
also love it if you posted some pictures of you peeing, or wearing panties
or other lingerie. Or if any of you have any horses or dogs, have some...

clearing up eczema seems to help sleep... by
Irrational Number
Pillbug's eczema is now cleared up and I'm
on a strict no-dairy diet and he's using no
soap in his bath.
Amazingly, this has helped his sleep! He
basically sleeps from 7:30 pm to 5:30 am.
Before, though, he was waking up every
TWO HOURS to nurse, so I was being slowly
destroyed over the months.

Sibling Love (proud mommy post...) by
stasya
Hello all,
My baby is about 6 weeks old or so, and she LOVES her big brother
and sister. She barely notices that I'm around...she'll focus on me for
maybe a couple seconds before looking away. But last night, her 4 yo
big sister sat beside her and played My little pony for half an hour
while I...

newborn bowel movement frequency? by
oregonchick
Emily is now 8 days old. She was having 2-3 poopy diapers a day, but hasn't
had one for about 24 hrs, maybe a little longer. She is eating well, having
lots of wet diapers and is content. Isn't this the time when they are
supposed to poop 4+ times a day?
Should I be worried?

A disheartening experience by
laurie
I was at work the other night (I work at a hospital), and had been told that
there were two LC's on staff in the OB department, one on days and one on
nights. I had met the day nurse/LC last week. Because the hospital is so small,
there are often no OB patients and the OB nurses have to float to...

Delurk for a question by
~M~
Hi everyone...I've been lurking here for 18 mths or so (anyone around that
long might remember a few posts I made when the National Post printed a
letter of mine protesting a ridiculous bottle-feeding image). My DS is now
30 mths old and nurses 2-3 times daily weekdays (when I work) and 4-6...

bottles by
Jake_Mysterio
Ok I know everyone asks this but I am being boring today!
Tara is 9months old. I breastfeed her, as well as give solids usually 2
times a day. She was introduced to a bottle at about 5 weeks old due to a
hospitalisation that I couldnt always be there for. We had no problems then,
she would only...

Need help with children by

Can anyone help me with my 16 Months old son who doesn't want to eat.
He is an average baby and is growing very well. He can play, speak his
baby language and can walk.
Now the problem is, he doesn't want to eat. I feed him with baby foods
that I buy from the shops and the food that we prepare for...

can my milk be saved by
Lori
I am so mad right now I could scream. I have told my mother in law who
watches my baby half the week to only heat 2 oz of EBM at a time. I got
home early today and found that she had heated the entire 9 oz! Is it a
total loss. I am new at this pumping thing (I just went back to work) I
know I...

Wow, BIG weight gain for 2-weeker! by
Erin
Hi all,
I took DD to her 2-week WBV this week and found out she's gone from 7
pounds, 9 oz. at birth to 9 pounds, 8.5 oz. by day 17! She's 22 inches long
(same as at her birth) and the doctor said she was "very symmetrical," in
that her body measurements are now all in the 95th percentile for her...

Anybody else see Absolutely Fabulous on BBC1 tonight?
Quick bit of Saffy using an electric breast pump and then Eddie looking at
the bottle of EBM and saying that she reckoned she could get more from one
'titful'.
Very funny!

Teeth by

Does anyone's child grind their teeth?
Will has the top and bottom middle two, but another one on the way up
the top... just this week he has been grinding his teeth and it is
making my hair stand on end! I think it is because he's trying to put
some pressure on the new tooth coming in, but still...

rejecting one breast by
MonifromMarrs
Hello group. I know I have read threads in the past on this very thing but I
cant find them when I really need them. My DD is 10 months old and suddenly
gives me all kinds of problems on one breast but not the other. She turns and
twists and wants to latch on latch off and it is driving me crazy....
