My Weight loss Story by
Jenny
My Weight loss Story
I knew I was overweight, but my husband told so much how beautiful I
was and how he loved me the way I was. When I couldn't fit into my
size 14 jeans anymore, I decided to get some new clothes that fit.
Ben (my husband) kept telling me how the clothes were just shrinking

Finger Foods-Am I being paranoid? by
[email protected]
My baby is 10 1/2 months and has 9 front teeth (no back teeth). I was
told I could give my baby a teething bisquit, crackers, frozen bagels
or toasted wheat bread as safe finger foods. On all of them, he
managed to bite off big pieces.
My friends can give their baby grilled cheese...

Co-sleeping at naptime-other options. by
[email protected]
To those that co-sleep, what do you do about nap times?

get him close to his crib. I tried a pack n' play and that didn't
work. He's too big for a swing. If I put him on the floor - he'd
quietly wake up and crawl away! If I...

I believe this is a virus... be careful... there is no other news article

New with question about allergies by
bshadder
Hi - I'm new to this board. I'm a SAHM with 2 little girls, one is 21
months and one is 7 weeks. My question is about my toddler. The air
quality has been really bad here lately and for awhile now, I've been
noticing how she rubs her eyes alot. Yesterday she started complaining
about it, saying...

VENT: crappy lunchtime by

I just have to vent. My dad came over at the most unfortunate. It started
just before he came to the door, so I couldn't much put on a happy face for
him. DS had just tried to pour the couscous into a measuring cup while I
had my back turned and he ended up with the entire thing on the...

Offering choices to multiples by
Marty Billingsley
Hi --
I'm seeking advice from those who have twins (or more), or who
have worked with twins. How do you offer them lots of choices?
When I pick my two up from daycare and say, "Would you like to
go home or go to the playground", invariably one wants to go
home and one wants to go to the...

Helping kids through divorce by
Tracy L. Cramer
Two posts in one morning, wow.
Not so DH and I separated two months ago and while we've tried to keep
things as stable as possible for the kids, behavioural issues are
cropping up. I've been told that this is fairly normal, but that
doesn't mean it's easy to deal with and I need some practical...

How to explain missing grandparent to 4yo by
Jeanne Clelland
My father is a severe alcoholic, and consequently I've had almost no
contact with him for many years. (My parents have long since divorced.)
I don't intend for my kids ever to see him, because I couldn't be sure
of their physical or emotional safety if they did. DH and I are both in
agreement on...

I've been really bad with baby clothes--they're
just too darned cute. Fortunately Genevieve keeps growing
and the seasons keep changing, so more clothes are required ;-)
I find that I am somewhat addicted to Janie and Jack, though
I am good and wait for the sales (because the prices are
completely...
