OT sort of - resuming relations after baby by
determined
I know this is going to sound just awful, but my daughter is 11 months old
now, and my husband and I have only had sex about 6 times since she was
born... I feel really horrible, but at first I was so exhausted I couldn't
care less, and now, I've been bleeding and cramping since August when I...

Periods after baby? by
xkatx
Just a question...
DD2 is not quite 10 weeks old now. Wow, time flies, it seems!
IIRC, with DS (almost 6), I didn't start periods again until looong after he
was born. I did, however, exclusively bf him until he was about 6 months
old. At that point, I did offer him EBM in a bottle on...

10 months, constantly hungry, won't eat by
Liz
Hi all,
My 10 month old DD eats very little solids: nothing at all at breakfast, and
just picks at things for lunch and dinner. This in itself doesn't bother me,
but when we started her on solids at 6 months she ate rather more than she
does now. The nurse suggests breastfeeding her less so...

Adoption Breastfeeding by
Brookben
I have a friend who is adopting a newborn in March. She wants to
breastfeed and it will be her first breastfeeding experience.
Do any of you know anyone who has successfully breastfed an adopted
baby? Any support sites? Tips?
Thanks,
Misti

teething by
determined
Emily is 1 yr old now and has 2 bottom teeth and one top tooth is just
starting to push through. We just arrived home from 3 weeks in Germany, and
I'm not sure if she is coming down with something or if she's teething. She
has a runny nose, is drooling alot, cries constantly, and won't eat...

Christmas. I intend to let her self wean, so plan to BF for 2+ years in
theory. However, we also want to TTC rather soon, so we'll give her at
least a year of BF but if I don't ovluate by then, will wean. In any
case, when could I...

Skin Care For Baby by
Shannon York
Lots of skin care sites forget about your most sensitive and important
member of your family: baby. This shortage of information contributes
to a new parent`s lack of understanding about the special needs and
qualities of a newborn`s or toddler`s skin. Read...

I waited about 3 weeks after the last feed before posting that post, as I
continued to offer for a while and was only then I was convinced it wasn't
going to happen, but, today I had a bath with the kids, I was just
investigating to see if I still had milk and she saw and climbed over and

Sleepless babies by
tim: www.peakperformanceforyou.co.uk
As we all know babies who cannot sleep are very difficult on the
parents who naturally worry for their offspring. Plus the fatigue which
naturally ensues reduced the tollerance and clouds the vision of Mum
and Dad.
If you have been informed by midwives, health visitors or district
nurses that...

Epidurals and bfing by
[email protected]
Found this on the BBC world service website this morning.
http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/health/6161727.stm
(What really struck me was the comment that 93% of the women in the
study started out breastfeeding, and at 6 months over 50% were still
nursing! American women should do so well!)
