Supply issues? by
cjra
Maybe. maybe not.
After 12 weeks my supply was regulating and I wasn't leaking much. Now
DD is reverse cycling and it's all over the place. She seems to be
getting enough, but I noticed I'm pumping very little. Initially, in
the first month when I was using a hospital pump, I'd generally get...

lynn
i've got a two week old baby. at the beginning, did you guys feel anxious
at bedtime? i know it's natural to have night feedings, and that it's
nothing personal, but with the last two of my kids especially, i've been on
edge before the big sleep. got any ideas?

Childproofing checklist? by
determined
Emily is starting to be alot more mobile, though not crawling yet. She
scoots around though! I was wondering if anyone knows of an online
checklist that covers most of the basics. I know the obvious stuff, but I
want to make sure I'm not missing anything.

toddler breastfeeding by
Anne Rogers
I'm having a nightmare nursing Ada, 16mths. She's never learnt to demand
milk despite us trying to teach her the sign, so I basically end up guessing
when she wants a feed, which can easily end up being only once a day. Then
when she does feed, she goes for about a minute, then delatches and...

cjra
Am I the only one that things this is not reasonable?
Is this along the lines of people thinking one can nurse in a bathroom
stall?
Two people today suggested that in such a matter of fact way like why
was I concerned? There are bathrooms in that building... Neither of them
have ever BF'd or pumped...

3.5 month old prefers the bottle--how to get him back to breast? by
amy
Hi,
My 3.5 month old son has lost interest in the breast, I think because
he prefers a bottle. Until a few days ago he was getting a 6oz bottle
of breastmilk once a day in the morning. Now he will only nurse when I
trick him into it while he is sleeping (naps and nighttime). To make
matters more...

Didn't realise pumping would be such a Pain! by
cjra
I pumped for 3 weeks while DD was in hospital so doing it is not a big
deal. And I work in an office, normal office hours with a door which
locks and a kitchen w/sink to wash things, so surely it should be no
problem. AND, I work for the health dept which is pushing a big BF
awareness campaign at...

NIP in church? Appropriate? by
cjra
I was shocked when I read on another chat board a woman - a young
woman, in her 20s, who says she NIPs herself - stated that it was
inappropriate in church and was offended when a woman did. And what's
more, many people agreed it was the one place where it wasn't
appropriate.
I'd think it was the...
