Green poop and milk issue by
Andrea
Kamrons poop changed from a brownish colour to a very dark green. My health
visitor said he may have a tummy bug, but it's been 2 weeks now and still
green poop. She said that sometimes when the poop is green it can indicate
that the baby isn't getting enough milk. His weight gain has slowed...

Which Car Seat would you recommend? by
Wendy J.
delurking
Hi,
Dd is nearly 4 1/2 months old (14 lbs, 9 oz, 26") and we have been
using the Graco Travel System Quattro Tour™ 7411. The Graco website
says that you can only use the car seat until the infant is 26" or 20
lbs and dd is 26" so I need to start looking for another car seat.
Doesn't...

Mother's milk tea recipe, questions by

While searching for Mother's milk tea recipe on this newsgroup I came
across one recipe by Larry and Monika (Thank you!) that had fennel,
anise, caraway, fenugreek and blessed thistle as ingredients. I bought
a box of tea (Traditional Medicines) yesterday. It has listed in
addition to those,...

yeast revisited by
Karlee in Kansas
When I was getting ready to go into the OR to have my c-section, I was
given a dose of antibiotics. Seems as if I now have a vaginal yeast
infection. This is not entirely uncommon for me as it has happened before.
The problem is in the fact that I am seen at a military hospital. The
regular docs...

Micronor and supply? by
Laurie
I know they say that micronor doesn't decrease supply, but has anyone had a
different experience? About a week or two after I started it, when my son
was 10 weeks old, I did notice a little change; I had been dealing with
major overactive letdown, which tapered off. I know that can taper...

Questions about water and juice by
Rob and Laura
I have just started to give Izabella a little bit of water in a bottle just
maybe once a day or every other day. I am just wanting to know if this is
alright.
Her Pedi told me i could also try diluted juices with her now, like half and
half, half juice half water, is this alright as well?
I am...

bf help for women with large breasts by

Is there something special that a woman with large breasts needs to be aware
of when breastfeeding? I am having a lot of trouble with my 4 week old.

hungry, so I keep having to give her formula, about 6 ounces a day! I...

Max pumping time by

Is there a reason why several sources on pumping mention that the
maximum time at each session using any type of pump should be no more
than 30 min? Is to ensure the mom doesn't develop over active letdown?
Or is it because or some other reason I don't know?
I'm one of those who has never seen an...

pumping for work by
Irrational Number
We've determined that Pillbug drinks 20 oz. during
the day, so that's what I need to pump daily. I
can usually get 3-4 oz. per 8-minute session. If
I go to 10 minutes, not much more comes out. That
means I need 5 to 6 pumping sessions per day.
My friends, and the websites and books, say...

Hi all,
I'm 34 weeks pregnant and planning on breastfeeding. I'm
a bit confused as to wether or not you feed from both breasts
at one feeding or if you alternate breasts with feedings?
I have a book that my MIL gave me that is, unfortunately,
dated 1987. As I'm reading it, part of me is...
