herbs and pregnancy by
Ali
I've been trying to find consistent information on the Internet about
certain herbs and pregnancy.
I have an all natural body lotion with lavendar and white yarrow.
I know lavendar is very good for pregnancy (relaxation) but I've been
reading that white yarrow can cause uterine contractions so...

Hi :o)
I had my normal doc appt. last Thursday. About a week maybe two
before that I had that three hour glucose test & that determined I had
the gestational diabetes. Because of my age & my family history with
diabetes I knew it was a possibility, so I thought I was prepared for
it. WRONG!!!!!...

Sorta OT~ Question about bedwetting by
Mandy :
At what age should you be concerned about your child's bedwetting
habits?
I have a daughter who will be 4 years old in October. She doesn't have
too many daytime accidents, and in fact hasn't had any since she started
Pre-K a month ago. She does wet the bed at night regularly. This has
been going...

red). What should I do? Some people said its normal but some said I have

First midwife/postnatal care nurse visit by
Elly
Yesterday I had a visit from my midwife/postnatal care nurse. The way this
works is that she is trained both in obstetrics and newborn care - and you
have 1 visit when you are around term, and around 8 visits (depends on your
needs really) after the baby is born.
You normally can't choose the...

stripping membranes by

Tomorrow is my 39wk appt. My midwife mentioned at the last check-up that if
I wanted her to strip my membranes then she would do it at the 39 wk point.
My questions are, does it really help speed things along? I had it done 8
yrs ago with my daughter but I can't remember how bad it hurt, if much...

Uneventful appointment by
Naomi Rivkis
Well, had my AFP test today (we'll get results next week) and a
general checkup. Heard the baby's heartbeat again, thus reminding me
that there really is someone in there! I don't show much yet, at
almost 18 weeks, and sometimes if I didn't have the heartbeat to
remember I'd wonder if the doctors...

I'm going through a m/c now. I had some of what I would describe as burst

first went to the ER where I was told my cervix was closed and that I was
just very early into my pregnancy. I was given a paper entitled...
