ER nurses -- rant by
Jan Andrea
My friend took her 16-month-old to the ER today, after he fell off the bed
and bit deeply into his lower lip. He didn't need stitches or anything, but
as they were checking out, she asked the nurse whether it would be okay to
breastfeed him, thinking more of the pain aspect than anything else. ...

breastfeeding in the news by
A&G&K
Well, Kate Langbroek breastfed her bub on national TV here last night and
there is the resultant hoo-har on the current events shows.
I could not even see any breast on the reports I saw ... the baby covered
everything. Heck I've seen Kate wear shirts that were much more revealing.
Anyway, for...

Hale's lookup? by
Aly
I am currently nursing my 5 mo dd and my 25 mo ds, and have occasional
severe back pain. I was wondering if somebody could look up Robaxacet
for me? It's ingredients are Acetaminophin and Methocarbamol. TIA!

Hi all...
I hope some of you remember me! I posted quite a bit when my last daughter was
still nursing (she's now almost 3yo) and I see quite a few familiar names from
mkp.
I'm Amy... sahm to 4 wonderful kids ... our son is 11, and we have 3 daughters

another weird nursing habit by
K.B.
My baby will be 5 months soon. He has been sticking his finger in the side
of his mouth while he's nursing. He rolls his finger in there. It's so weird
and it pinches my nipple. Plus he doesn't get a good suction and he slurps
milk. I don't know if his gums bother him or he just likes the way it...

Chicken Pox Vaccine by
danielle
Just a question~it seems that I remember some research being reported maybe
4-5 years back that linked girls who had been given the CP vaccine as a
child with infertility issues later on. It didn't say anything about any
issues with boys. Does anyone else remember this? This has been in the
back...

Sleeping Longer by
Alison
OK so what happens with supply when baby decides he's gonna sleep through
the night ie from 11pm to 7am? I have to work so hard at keeping up my
supply that I'm paranoid I'll dry up if he sleeps through.

Here are my slings by
Karen Askey
Ok, here are some pics with the slings I make with the trim at the rings. I
had commented a few weeks back that my sewing machine does not always do such a
neat job sewing through all the layers at the rings, so my solution was to put
some trim on them. Some I trim out, some I don't, but here are...

Going back to the bottle again by
Jakob
What I've done in the past is start out giving my baby the breast she
prefers. Then I try and switch to the less desired one. If I were you, I
would lay down with your baby and offer him the right breast. Then after
he's taken enough in so that he's not 'starving', offer him the left one,
still...
