I'm home :-) by
Anne Rogers
I'm out of the hospital now, the doctor described me as a text book case,
though it's something I've never heard of. He said I would be sore for a
while, I have a course of antibiotics to complete, but the likelyhood is
that this is a blip, which will be solved by growing the baby for a few...

Update and two questions by
Robert Powell
Hello I've been off the list for a while - ever since our nuchal
translucency scan - but everything is going well, touch wood, I was going to
post a piccy of '3D junior' but for some reason Clare didn't want to share
her insides with the entire world - can't think why *grin*. We've been
slowly...

Help for morning sickness by
[email protected]
Hello! I am new to this group and was actually researching IUGR when I
saw all the posts about morning sickness and I thought I would share my
"secret" for "curing" it! Follow all of the customary advice such as
never having an empty stomach, eat smaller meals frequently, etc. but,
as soon as you...

Baby Wearing and Tummy time? by
Donna Metler
I'm reading books on infant curriculum/education program, and they're pretty
definite that babies need freedom of movement, tummy time, etc to develop
motor skills appropriately. They recommend no more than 1 hour a day where
the baby is restricted, and list things like swings, bouncers,...

Baby stopping breathing update and question UPDATE by
T68b
If IRC, you mentioned your nephew was on anti seizure meds as well.
Possibly they are trying to regulate doses of this, and some sedation since
he's on a ventilator so he's not wide awake and fighting the vent? Also the
seizure meds may cause some lethargy/ poor responses until they regulate...

Monika's comments on autism by
Larry McMahan
If you all remember, yesterday there was a news story on autism,
and the fact that maternal asthma doubled the risk of autism.

this was a generation of mothers who weren't breastfed themselves.
I think this bears looking into."
So, it...
