Book Recommendation by
Amy
I'm only 50 pages in, but I have to recommend "What No One Tells the
Mom" by Marg Stark. Her other book, "What No One Tells the Bride"
basically saved the first year of my marriage, and this one is every
bit as good. I wish I'd had it months ago. I've just had a very
personal, and yet very HUGE...

natural induction methods and pubic symphysis pain by
[email protected]
Hi there, I haven't been here regularly throughout this pregnancy
like I was for the other two but I thought I would get some ideas and
advice. First of all, I am hoping to go into labor on my own because I
have had two inductions and I don't want that experience again so I was
wondering if...

FAO Ericka, GD by
Anne Rogers
Ericka, I was wondering if you have a summary anywhere on stuff relating to
GD, particularly stuff about the fact that treating it doesn't lead to
improved outcomes and also anything that would say there are are some people
you should test (if this is the case?). It has come up at our...

Can stretch marks show up AFTER delivery? by
Lady Penelope Creighton-Ward
So far, knock on wood, at 36.5 weeks I haven't had any stretch marks
come up, though I'm aware they can easily appear in the final weeks or
days. Supposing they don't - is there a chance that I discover stretch
marks after delivery? Ie. Could it be that my skin looks okay now but
the stretch...

I will miss my baths! by
Linda
After lots of tearing giving birth 2.5 weeks ago, I was recommended to have
a salt bath every morning and night for the next couple of weeks to help
prevent infection.
I've now finished the big bag of salt I bought, and it's been a couple of
weeks so thats it for my compulsory baths. I've really...

How far can prenatal depression go? by
carlye
I'm desperate for an answer to why I've been sick, virtually nonstop,
since the beginning of November. I have had identifiable illnesses --
three sinus infections, a stomach flu (resulting in 4 days of
subsequent "illness" due to extreme dehydration), bronchitis, an ear
infection, and a couple...

20 Weeks Appointment with Midwife by
Zaz
Hello,
I had my 20 weeks apointment with my midwife (well, more like 21, it's
20+6). I only gained 4 pounds since mid-December, urine sample is good. The
baby wiggles like crazy, the heartbeat is loud, clear and regular, and my
uterus is positionned at the "standard" height. Whatever that means, I...

Some of you may remember me posting a while back about the loss of one twin

looks fine (the twin that died has become significantly smaller and...

C section because of back problems by
John Smith Jones
HI,
My wife had back surgery/disc removal about 5 years ago with major
complications. She had full body spasms that put her out of work for 4
months and took her almost 2 years to get back to normal.
She is now a month pregnant. We have spoken with teh OB/GYN about a
c-section for this reason.....
