Had a panic attack last night :-( by
Jill
I am doing everything I can to get my mind off PAs that I have had in the
past. (Except for when I break down and talk to someone about them).......
Last night for no reason I started getting the familiar panic attack.....I
had just gone to bed and actually had been lying there for 30 minutes or...

Ralph Snart
my wife has been battling severe nausea throughout this

bleeding/spotting by
Ali
Hi Dagny,
You're in about your 7th week of pregnancy, just like me
(first day of my last period was July 30).
Are you bleeding and you need to change a pad often?
Is the blood red and clotted?
Or is it spotting?

Epidural vs Natural...questions by
annafine
This is geared toward Mom's who have experienced both Natural
childbirth and childbirth after having an epidural.
I've recently taken a preparation for childbirth and I think that I'd
like to try to go all natural without the pain medication from an
epidural, simply because the epidural itself...

Diaper bag contents? by
Elly
I've googled the MKP archives on the subject of diaper bag contents, and
this is the list I came up with:
- 3 or 4 disposable diapers
- travel pack of wipes
- portable changing pad
- 2 changes of clothes (I think by the time the baby is 4 months old 1
change of clothes will be enough)
- ointment...

Alternatives for labor pain relief?? Epidural Question by
Jill
I was reading the thread about epidural or not....I am just getting used to
being pregnant with my first and so I am still reading a lot and trying to
educate myself on it. I never have particularly wanted an epidural...I had a
spinal tap once and it was awful. Stay away from my back, ugh.....I...

Update ( # of ultrasounds question) by
annafine
Being the original poster for the # of ultrasounds question, I thought
I should give everyone an update.
First off, the reason I was asking about u/s is because 2 weeks ago my
OB thought Baby was breech and that we may need to plan for a
c-section...I was concerned and thought that another u/s...

D&C question by
JNJ
I was wondering if any of you had to have a D&C after a miscarriage? I'm
not sure if I will have to have one cuz my ob said some times its not
nessasary. I was curious as to how long it takes and if you feel any pain?
They knock you out right?

34 week update by
Nina
Well, after all my griping, this am when I took my shower I noticed that the
baby seemed to haev moved. Sure enough, the midwife confirmed that the
critter had indeed gone head down. She probably heard me bthcing and moaning
all night last night, plus I did kind of beg her, "TURN TURN TURN,...

Update: Finally by

Well, it looks like I have finally miscarried. It took 5 weeks since the
pregnancy stopped progressing, but it's soon to be over. I had cramping and
lower back pain all day yesterday then last night passed what I can only
imagine to be all the tissue. It was a little shocking and much more than...

Gained 2 - 3 lbs in a week! by
Carol Ann
I'm a pig! I cannot stop eating!!!
On top of eating too much, I'm eating crap. Pizza, angel food cake, Doritos
chips...
What's happening? I went from 158 to 160 in a week.
I hate this!! I am trying to walk 1.5 miles daily. I am just shocked that
I am going back to eating badly again.

Changed My Mind About Amnio Test by
Kimme mik
I also chose not to have a amnio, for the same reasons you did plus a
few others. I have a family member who did have one 13 years ago. She ws
advanced maternal age and at the time they pretty much did this
routinely with older mothers. Unfortunatly her sac didnt close and she
leaked amniotic fluid...

Hello all...
A very good and dear friend will be having her baby in October. She
is looking for free patterns for baby clothes on the internet.
She is having a little girl, and she wants some for the old fashioned,
traditional little girl clothes, like pinafores and dresses.
Does anyone know...
