15 month old throwing food by
jojo
how do I keep him from throwing food whenever he wants?
If he doesn't like it he throws it.
We give him a firm no, and take all food away once he starts throwing it,
but it doesn't stop it from happening the very next meal.
Thanks
jojo

Kids, parents & flu panic by
JSTONE9352
There seems to be a fair amount of "flu panic" going on with people
trying to get the vaccine. 20+ kids dying so far has spooked a number
of parents. My wife and I got our shot in Oct. but for some reason our
14 year old son didn't and he said he wanted one after hearing about the
deaths so we...

Bulky coats and the carseat by
cloud nine
It's turned COLD here! Yikes. So I brought out the big, bulky coat for ds to
wear. It dawned on me that I had read/heard somewhere that you're not
supposed to wear the big coat on them while they are strapped into the
carseat. Is that true? If so, why?
I can't see myself getting him all bundled up...

The best gift from my mother by

I have been on the internet for 11 years now and have
received in my e-mail letters referring to making money.
Like most of you, I have ignored them. A few weeks ago I decided to see what
would happen if I participated, as I had heard quite good reports about this
scheme over the last few years....

Ferber method the right thing? by
Nickysmom
We decided to "Ferberize" our 5 months old son but after 3 days we are questioning our choice.
Our baby had some issues going to sleep before which is why we decided to do the method - I realized I was essentially nursing him to sleep or one of us had to sing or rock him to sleep most of the time....

we also keep the "table" part up against her belly as tightly as I
feel OK doing. Nevertheless, she can get to a standing position in

Is there a particular age when children stop reacting hysterically to
