It is usually used for colics.
Anyways, if any of you are looking for gripe water, you can find it in
the US at http://store.babycenter.com/?_loopback=1
I am sure there...

Dizziness? by
Jody Pellerin
I'm just wondering if dizziness in the second trimester (like 16-17 weeks)
is normal? Or if it's bad and should be checked out. Lastnight, while
sitting at my computer, I got dizzy twice and once while standing up. And
then again this morning, the same thing while sitting at my computer. Should

where can I find these? by
ted
on another thread somebody mentioned that some of the cute girlie
dresses don't come with short underpants to cover the diaper. Turns
out I have about a dozen of these. I got presents for my daughter from
relatives from overseas where it's not common to attach a matching
underpants to the dress...

my neighbor by
Dagny
Having learned a little about birth, from this board, from the birth
community, and from my own experience of birthing this past October, I
decided I should do the neighborly thing and offer some support to my across
the street friend who is my age and having her first child due in February.
So I...

DeliciousTruffles
So, the possibility might arise that dh might have to do some
baby-catching on the side of the road. What should I have packed as an
emergency kit?

Ketones in urine? by
Amy
I just saw my midwife the other day for a 14 week check-up. She did the
usual urine dipstick test for sugar. I commented that one of the squares was
bright purple, and I'd never seen that on a test during my previous
pregnancy. She said after checking, 'Oh, that's ketones but that's not what
we're...

x-ray during pregnancy by
LeAnn
My doctor has told me that at my next appointment (I will be 34 weeks)
if the baby doesn't seem to be in the right position then he wants to do
an x-ray to make sure. For one, is this safe? And two, can anyone tell
me why he might want to do an x-ray instead of an ultrasound?

Questioning Doctor's advice. by
karen hill
My doctor recommeds that we circumcise our son when he is born, but
lately I've been researching circumcision on the internet and have
discovered some troubling information. Here is what is troubling me
concerning circumcision, and if anyone can ease my mind on these
facts, I'd be grateful.

Childbirth class and Lots of Objects by
Naomi Rivkis
It's my 34th birthday, and we spent it at the first session of my
childbirth prep class. It's loosely Lamaze-based, with a lot of
general stuff that the teacher throws in. She's had six kids, under a
variety of different circumstances and including a set of twins, and
she's a doula with more than...
