CLAN IN 7TH CHAMBER by
marika
here's some pleasant spam from my friend Bill
========
Well, here we are in the middle of fall. It's not my favorite time of
year because, even though Mother Nature endows us with incredible
beauty, I'm always apprehensive about the cold weather to come. What
I'm doing where it's gonna be cold, I...

clearing up eczema seems to help sleep... by
Irrational Number
Pillbug's eczema is now cleared up and I'm
on a strict no-dairy diet and he's using no
soap in his bath.
Amazingly, this has helped his sleep! He
basically sleeps from 7:30 pm to 5:30 am.
Before, though, he was waking up every
TWO HOURS to nurse, so I was being slowly
destroyed over the months.

Clicking by
Poppy
Hello again
Glad to be back here with baby #2 (well I didn't really leave but pg got
complicated). He's now 6 weeks old and has been doing fine putting on an
average of 10oz a week for his first 4 weeks!!! Haven't had him weighed
since so I don't know if this 'clicking' is affecting weight gain...

Clingy 1 year old by
cjra
My normally happy, friendly, sociable DD has turned into clingy
toddler. She still is sociable, but has been really needy and not
wanting anyone but mommy or daddy, and sometimes not us either! Today
when I dropped her off at daycare she clung to me and wouldn't let go.
She did the same thing when...

clog help needed by
Dagny
This is brief because DD creates time constraints -- DD is eight days old.
My right nipple has a white spot on it and the nipple becomes misshapen
peaking to that spot when DD nurses (clogged duct). I have other symptoms
and am trying to treat with heat -- it's been going on for about 48 hours
and...

clogged duct update/remedy by
K.B.
I followed everyone's advice and I still wasn't getting any relief. I was in
so much pain I was getting worried with what to do. I made a bowl of hot
water and Epsom salt and soaked my whole breast in the bowl. I just leaned
over into it. It felt so good. It's a miracle. I feel so much better. I...

Cloth diaper advise needed by
peggy-o
I recently started using cloth diapers on my son who is now 6 months
old. The first time I used them his runny breastmilk poop got all over
his dipaer cover. Any advise on how I can prevent that so I don't need
to change the diaper cover every time he poops (which is almost
everytime he eats and...

Cloth diapering - diapers don't fit with wraps? by
cjra
Maybe it's just us...
I have Chinese pre-folds, newborn size, and a number of wraps - bummis,
kushies, all newborn size. The diapers seem *way* too big for the
wraps, and at the same time we can't seem to get them in right so that
each poop stays on the diaper and not on the wrap, or is this...

Cloth diapers (x-posted) by
Fer
You'd think I'd know this one but it has been quite a long time since I've
cloth diapered a babe.
So my question to all you cloth diapering mommies out there is...just how
many do I need to buy?! I'll probably do prefolds since I didn't like the
fitted ones. Oh, and how many covers per...

Cloth diapers, at it again!!! by
peggy-o
So I have been trying really hard to make this work but I am still
having a hard time getting them tight enough. I can see why pampers
evolved. I guess there is a price to pay for being environmentally
conscience. I've been working with prefolds but if I can't make this
work I'm going to switch to...

CNN Article of July 27 by
Andrea Phillips
Here's the link:
http://www.cnn.com/2006/US/07/27/nursing.cover.ap/index.html
The stance of this article kind of annoys me, because it structures the
discussion as being between "Well, I try not to show too much boob" and
"Ew, gross."
Does anyone else have a take on it?

Co sleeping, colder temps, drafty house by
cjra
How warm do you keep your house?
How do you bundle up your kid?
DO you have any issues once you start using big duvets?
We live in South Texas, so it's not like we'll have subzero temps to
worry about, but it does get cold from time to time, and dips below
freezing. We do have central heat, but...

Co-sleeping by
Brookben
Am I doing my 12 week old a disservice by co-sleeping? I enjoy having
her so close, but I wonder if she is relying on me for sleeping. We
planned on transitioning her to crib at 5 months. Thoughts?
Suggestions?
