[email protected]
A new, nationally syndicated talk show is looking for teens who
recently found out you are pregnant! Are you having a hard time
telling your parents that you're pregnant, does your boyfriend not want
you to have the baby, or are your parents ashamed? If this is you or
someone you know, please...

Diagnosed w/ gestational diabetes by
ChitaShines
I just got the phone call this morning that my 3 hour glucose test came back
abnormal and that I have gestational diabetes. I don't have the appt. set
up yet w/ the dietician, but am wondering what I need to avoid in the
meantime until I get to see them. I've read on various sites general...

Jessica's Birth story and update - long by
lucy-lu
Hi all
Thank you for the congratulations messages :) I'm sorry it's taken a
while to post - Rob and I came down with food poisoning on Tuesday, so
as you can imagine, it was a little hectic for 24 hours or so. We're so
much better now, and thankfully Jessica missed it all, and I was able to
carry...

hypnosis by
Special K!
Has anyone used hypnosis as a method of pain reduction during labor and
delivery? How did it work for you and how did you learn about it?
Also, what other pain management techinques are there that don't involve
drugs? I know about lamaze and bradley, but is there anything else I can
look...

What to Expect ... by
Carmen
Quoting from the Abbreviations thread:
"WTEWYE - What to Expect When You're Expecting (another book, NOT so
poplar here)"
Just wondering, why is it unpopular here? What are the best books in
your experiences?

Finding Nap Time by
Andrea Phillips
Well, here we are, a few days on from my stupid three-hour glucose
test, and I think I can conclusively say that my fatigue is a result of
just being tired and pregnant! And not from the, you know, blood loss.
Still, I'm a busy girl; I've got a job to do, and a 4-year-old to take
care of, not to...

Here's what pretty much happened.
Ohh, by the way, I had a Personal Labor Coach (PLC) & when I say "We"
I'm pretty much referring to her & I. DH only really physically helped
during the pushing stage (with the exception of a few shoulder massages)
which was fine...

Hi all
Just wanted to say sorry I've ignored so many posts - Rob (dh) was made
redundant when Jessie was 6 days old (not unfair dismissal btw - 50% of
the company's gone :/ ), so things have been a bit hectic.
OTOH, Life with Jessica could't be better. I still can't believe she's
here, or that...

Questions about donor egg procedure with older women by
Kate
Hi,
My husband and I are considering using donor eggs to try and get
pregnant. Since we are both older we are concerned with the safety,
success rate and health for both mother and child. We have the
following questions. If anyone can provide answers (either through
personal experience or...

Hehe, ain't that the truth! by
~Hunee~
I had to share this one!
A couple just started their Lamaze class and they were given an activity
requiring the husband to wear a bag of sand to give him an idea of what it
feels like to be pregnant. The husband stood up and shrugged saying, "This
doesn't feel so bad."
The instructor then...

Head Size by
.oO rach Oo.
After two weeks in NICU, I guess I am paranoid. The baby is now 6 1/2 months
old and doing really well... way ahead of herself in a lot of ways. Today at
her six months shots, the doctor said her head was a bit big and has now
sent us to a paediatrician. What the hell? Does this mean something...
