Fifth migraine... by
Zaz
This is my fifth migraine since getting pregnant.
It started on Saturday, I controlled it with laying in the dark in silence,
and the help of two Motrin IB and an ice pack on my forehead.
I cold move about almost normally on Sunday, but It didn't really leave me,
and the headache is still very...

I'm a time traveller from the year 2053 and I must tell you that 99%
of your kids will be killed in the upcoming wars starting from year
2005.
They will be nuked, poisoned by toxic gas, killed by bioweapons or by
bullets, knives and clubs when the sand******s attack the USA.
So better have an...

Ice Cubes (rant!) by
Zaz
I just had a phone call from one of my swimming class buddies: she gave
birth to a healthy boy in the morning of Oct. 13. I will not relate her
whole birth story, as she did not get in too much details, but one thing
stuck to my mind, and to hers: she was in the hospital for 23 hours.
During all...

Ok, now it's official... bad news by
Ilse Witch
I know I scared the living daylights out of some of you a while ago, but
this time it's for real. I am facing a fourth m/c. All was very well in
the first 7 weeks. I got an excellent hCG reading back even last friday.
But then my morningsickness suddenly got a lot less and I felt these vague
cramps...

GD 3 hour test by
Kaybee
Well today I had to go for my 3 hour GD test. Yuck I had to take Eva with
me. Anyone know how hard it is to keep a 2 year old occupied for 3 hours?
It was going good until it was about 30 mins b4 her nap time. UGHH the last
hour was a pain.
Well I am a hard stick and the lady that usually does...

"too posh to push" by
sleepy67
I found out about a week ago that my brother and sister in law are expecting
their first child. We all wondered if she would ever actually get pregnant,
because of her fear of childbirth (something her darling mother instilled in
her). Well, they finally did it, woohoo! but, she is insisting that...

Did you give birth Vaginally and with Epidural? by
Carol Ann
If so, I was wondering if it hurt during labor and delivery?
A friend delivered Thursday (12:03) a beautiful baby girl (8lbs, 20"). She
said it was extremely painful.
I had an emergency cesarean and my epidural had a leak which caused me to
feel quite a bit.
I thought the epidural took away the...

OT - Jury Duty experiences - side note by
Cathy Weeks
I followed the Jury Duty thread with a great deal of interest.
I've been called for Jury Duty many times so far, and have never
served due to hardship reasons.
I was called once in NJ during the 5 years I lived there, and my
daughter was an infant at the time, and refused the bottle - so I...

OT - Question for those in cold climates by
Cathy Weeks
We just moved to Minnesota, and Kivi needs a new winter coat. I'm
trying to figure out if I should buy the matching snow pants/bibs or
not.
My experience living in Missouri and New Jersey, is that snowpants get
used 2 or 3 times per year, and are mostly a waste of money.
Your thoughts?
Cathy...
