Introduction - in TWW phase! by
[email protected]
Hello - I thought I would introduce myself, as I have been reading this
newsgroup for about a month now. My husband and I recently decided to
start trying to conceive our first child, and this month is the first
time we have tried ... right now I am 3 days past ovulation (as far as I
can tell). ...

really mild cramping--does it go away? by
sproutling
Hello again, thanks for all the wonderful info on what to expect on my
first prenatal appointment. I've got another question, though.
I'm not very far along and I've been having very very mild cramping
for about 10 days now--since about a week before my period was due.
They aren't as strong as my...

Heard the heartbeat again... by
Erin
Yeah, speaking as a twin, I personally would not want to have a multiple
birth if given the choice to have a singleton instead! This always
surprises people, but the fact is that my grandmother, God love her, moved
in to my parents' house for a few months when my brother and I were born.
Without...

movement often enough? by
Eva Huld Valsdottir
Hi. I was wondering, how often can you feel the baby move in a day? I
started to feel movement around week 17 I think, but now, at 23 weeks,
I feel so little and week movements, I thought they´d be stronger by
now. I can feel a little something usually in the mornings, one or two
kicks (well not...

Swollen hands and fingers after exercise (walking) by

Question about Sonogram by
Valerie Rake
Having just had an ultrasound/sonogram on Monday, I'd think being skinny
would speed the process up. Less of your tissue to see through to see
the baby. ;-)

BTW I would be very surprised if being skinny had any effect whatsoever.

UK advice a bit different by
[email protected]
Do I need to cut out alcohol?
You should drink no more than 1 or 2 units of alcohol, once or twice a
week.
A unit is half a pint of ordinary strength beer, lager or cider, a
small glass of wine or a single 25 ml measure of spirits.

We're Having Twins...Any Advice? by
Kate in Maine
Congratulations!
I echo the suggestions for getting bf off to a good start.
Much information is available at http://www.lalecheleague.org. You might
want to attend a meeting or two before the babies are born and hook up with
an LLL Leader ahead of time--they are great, free resources when...

car seat/stroller bargain by
Dagny
My car seat options were determined by a super clearance at Target. The
Graco SnugRide "Milbrook" is $41.98 and the matching Cirrus Literider
stroller the car seat can snap into was $14.99. Had to run all over town to
find 2 car seats though. I did this after learning that the SnugRide base
is...
