baby ears pierced at hospital by
randy
My sister just had a baby girl and got her ears pierced at
the hospital?? I think it is cute to put little pink bows in
their hair and stuff like that. But isn't getting their ears
pierced right out of the womb a bit out there.
What do you all think??

Well, I guess I have been disappointed of late at the lack of compassionate,
honest replies to my postings. I've learned a lot over the past several
months from this newsgroup, but have seen amazing cliqueism (if such a word
exists). Guess I don't really need to be a part of that anymore. To...

breastfeeding her 9-year old son by
Shannon
That is sick!!! If child services were to find out the kid would be taken
and she could possibly be charged for sexual assault because that is pretty
much what it is. The age you are suppose to have stopped by is 2 years and
no later. What a sick person!!!

Men have ticking of 'biological clock' too
Researchers at Bristol and Brunel Universities have found that the older a man is, the longer it may
take his partner to conceive, irrespective of her age. The study shows that the odds on conceiving
in up to six months of trying decrease by 2% for every...

size of baby dependent on food intake? by
whoisthat
I am curious. I was just looking at the belly pix from Em, and I noticed
she is/was a lot bigger than me at 19 weeks. I am just that now and I can
still hide my belly. The sono doc didnt think I was pregnant and was
shocked to see the baby was the correct size, he said the size was right...

Glucose Test - Yum (!) by
Laura Schaefer
I haven't seen this in any of the other posts on the 1-hour glucose
test, but it's possible that I've missed it - I've been reading this
group obsessively, but I guess that doesn't translate to thoroughly :^).
Anyway....I went in for my 1-hr glucose test this morning, prepared for
the awful syrupy...

miscarriage rate by week of pregnancy info needed by
V
Hi all,
I am TTC my first, and want to get info on the miscarriage rate by week of
pregnancy. I'm visual, so would prefer a graph with miscarriage rate on the
vertical, time of preg on horizontal. For example, I know that very early
pregnancies have a high rate of miscarriage and then it...

Marginal placenta previa story/question by
Erin
Hi all,
Awhile back I posted a question about how likely it was for a 22-week
placenta that was 1.2 cm from the cervical os to move up before delivery.
People mostly seemed to think I had a good shot of it moving, and I decided
that barring any sudden bleeding, I would go about my normal business...

How are the new moms and babies doing? by
Vijay
Hi everyone. I have been gone for a while. I came back and wrote a
birth story a few weeks ago but in the middle my computer crashed and
I lost it and I just didn't have the heart to redo it yet. I will post
the long version soon but the short version is that Charlotte Amelia
arrived on 5/20,...

The OB visit & 32 week update (long) by
GoofeeGyrl
Cheryl S.
Mom to Julie, 2 yr., 3 mo.
And a boy, EDD 4.Sept
Wow Cheryl, I can't believe you had the energy to type all of that :)
Too bad the doc was not as great as your midwife, not helping an 8 month preg
woman up from the table is certainly not going to get any points with me!

double stroller advice needed by
Robert Huwe
I am going through the questions myself. I am having triplets and have had
to decide how we wanted to do the stroller bit. The triplet strollers all
start around $5-600 and they are big, heavy and unwieldy. It was suggested
to us to use a single and a double stroller, because the majority of...
