HELP! 2 week baby problems (long: cross mail) by
zolw
Hi;
Sina is giving me a real hard time. :( I am so unhappy & I believe so is
she.
1- I do realize that I am having some sort of postpartum blues right
now. I am overwhelmed by everything. Not only the sad things, but also
the happy things. I look at my daughter & I am so happy that I cry. I
look...

Bunk Beds by
Kat
I was wondering what the age requirement is to have a child in the top bunk?
I am thinking about getting a bunk bed for my 2 kids in about a year and a
half (I know a little ahead of myself:-)) and my DD, who would be in the top
bunk would be about 4 years old and DS will almost 2. Is that too...

35 week update by
Mary S.
All is well -- blood pressure was 100/60, total weight gain so far is
just shy of 40 pounds, had the GBS test (something they didn't do with
my last pregnancy, so that was a new experience), and the baby's
heartrate was too variable to get a number, so there's no gender
guessing to be done...

The long story:
At 41 weeks, on Tuesday I had an OB appointment. I was 2-3 cm dilated and
80% effaced. The doctor told me that I...

I am so frustrated. I posted a little bit about this on MKB but this is a
call for help to both groups. MKP.
We had Rachel checked for pyloric stenosis- she is ok and doesn't have that.
So WHY, why, why is she projectile spitting-up- I can't call it a vomit- it
just flies out of her mouth and...

frequency of solids in 5 mo old by
Shena Delian O'Brien
Ok, taking after me, when Logan decides he's changing he does it
overnight. This will drive his father nuts. lol
He suddenly decided about two weeks ago that his baby milk couldn't get
into his tummy fast enough to satisfy him. So we went about picking a
high chair, washing his baby spoons, buying...

Everything's so much better this time around! I had my nuchal fold scan
yesterday and will get the results next week. Although I'm having some
scheduling difficulties with my OB, I did get a reasonable appointment for
next week (she wants to talk for about an hour and have hubby there but,
until...

Good news and bad news by
Ilse Witch
Good news first: I got my period this weekend, in spite of taking 2x 100mg
prometrium (progesterone) as a vaginal suppository. So I guess my body
knows what it's at, in spite of the additional hormones.
Bad news: I'm not preggers this round, but I knew that. Weird enough, I
felt pregnant for 5...

Repeat C-Section vs. VBAC Statistics by
Wendy
Does anyone have any info on what the percentage of women who have
c-sections go on to have repeat c-sections? I would assume the rate of
repeat c-sections is far higher than VBAC but I'm wondering how much
higher. Thanks.

And yet -another- 35 week update... by
Carlye
All around, I had a good visit yesterday.
My blood pressure continues to be low -- 104/54. I gained 3 1/2
pounds over the last 3 weeks, which brings my weight gain to a grand
total of 33 pounds. I am not happy about that, but I have noticed a
lot of water retention as of late -- hoping to blame...

22 week update, not good news by
Donna Metler
First the good news-the baby is growing as expected, heartbeat is strong,
and the average BP readings and protein levels etc don't show any early
signs of PE. The bad news is that some of my headaches are demonstrating
neurological symptoms which are sometimes seen in severe PE. This could...

TTC Question by

How do you conceive if you are breastfeeding and are not having a period?
I know you can breastfeed and be pregnant at the same time, but when do you
ovulate? Can you ovulate without a period?
Is there any good time to try to have your second child? I'm 5 months PP.
I was thinking about...

Shower favor ideas? by
midunjen
I am having a shower for my friend at a very nice restaurant that will
include a sit-down luncheon. It's a bit of an older crowd, so we
aren't really planning any games or anything.
For my favors, I have bought little plastic cube shaped boxes and I'm
not sure what to fill them with. I've thought...

what to do about that darn pubic bone, hip, and lower back pain... by
Vicky Bilaniuk
Well, I went to see my regular doc today because the pain sometimes
makes me want to lose my mind on purpose. ;-) Actually, it was during
a really baaaaaad day that I even made the appointment. Normally, I
probably would have put it off. Anyway, he said that they normally need
x-rays in order...
