How to Handle A Friend (long) by
Susanne Koenig
Hello. I have been reading on here for a couple of days, and I have to say
this is a very informative newsgroup.
I had originally came looking for a pregnancy newsgroup because I was
feeling terribly depressed about my birthing options. (I am due January

Sonogram results by
Susanne Koenig
Well, folks, looks like it's a c-section after all! The baby is transverse,
but rotating him nonwithstanding, he has a large head and he is *much*
bigger than my daughter, by nearly a pound!!! It looks as if his head might
be slightly larger as well. With that in consideration and the damage...

My feelings are changing!! Hormones?? by
Jill
Oh my! I am exactly 22 weeks along today and something has happened to me. I
am starting to feel very maternal! and delighted.
I was moaning about pregnancy and how I didn't think I could make it through
another round of morning sickness and aches and pains and panic. Also in the
past I have...

my genetic screening app't. by
Honey38ch
Well, I just got back from the 17 week genetic screening appointment. Just for
background, I will remind you that I am 39, and will be 40 at due date, so it
was necessary to go in to screen for Down's and other stuff.
They did the ultrasound, took tons of measurements which were too numerous...

My baby boy has a cold..... by
Lizajane
Gabriel has a cold! I am a first-time mom, and I'm freaking out about
it!!! For a week he had the sniffles and a runny nose, and would wake
up so congested he could barely eat. We would suction his nose, which
he HATED and he would get better. Through the day, it would clear up.
Then yesterday,...

9 weeks, 1 day ago when I lost the last baby.
So at 9w1d into this new pregnancy after having nausea, extreme tiredness

Shettles method urg! by
Mary
Not that I have anything against sex selection if you want to give it a
try, but it totally bothers me that some people feel that their families
aren't good enough until they have x- or y-gendered child.
In skimming through pregnancy book recommendations on Amazon (I'm in 2ww
obsession), I clicked...

Co-sleeping question by
[email protected]
I am a new mom and co-sleep with my baby.
I adore this arrangement. Every night my baby flings his little arms
around my neck and puts his little face right up to mine, and every
morning I wake up to his smiling face and he gives me the most
heartwarming hugs.
I'm so thankful I get to experience...

anxiety & mood swings (vent) by
ted
I'm very anxious with bouts of depression during my previous pregnancy
and it seems to be the case this time too. I'm not the type that
thrives under pressure. So it doesn't help that I'm under work
pressure too right now. This may be my last child. I'm determined to
enjoy this pregnancy. But the...
