What Does the Hospital Give You? by
Usenet Fan
I've been told by a few people not to buy some things because the
hospital will send us home with some stuff. Here are some things
mentioned:
Bulb suction syringe
Baby nail clippers
Baby hairbrush/comb
Plus, I was told that they also send you home with a baby hat and
receiving blanket, a few...

Preventing/alleviating Polyhydramnios when fetus is normal by
MrsEener
I am about 7 months pregnant. This is my fourth pregnancy. My first
2 pregnancies I had normal amounts of amniotic fluid. My third
pregnancy I had a lot of fluid. It wasn't enough to diagnose me with
polyhydramnios but just to give you an idea, I lost 25 pounds just
from the delivery. Anyway,...

Ultrasound today and questions by
Taulmaril
I had my ultrasound today. It's a boy! While I'm happy to finally know what
my baby is I'm a little freaked out. This is my first baby and I just
assumed it would be a girl. I don't know why I assumed that but I did. I
don't know anything about boy babies. I need advice on boy related topics...

result of my antenatal screening for down's syndrome and neural tubedefects by
pcb
Hi,
I've been really busy with work and all so I haven't had a chance to
post the results of my screening. The screening involves a blood test
and an ultra sound at the first visit and then another blood test when
you're in or have passed the 15-16th week.
I got the results 2 weeks ago and was...

Engagement at 30 weeks? by
Daye
Hello all...
Can a baby start to engage at 30 weeks?
For the past couple of days, he feels like he is really low in my
belly, and it feels like he is trying to move down into the birth
canal. DD never engaged, so I don't know what it feels like.
Is it too early? If so, what could it be?

False alarm... by
Rupert
The other day my wife had a cramping pain. Of course we were scared
(she is 32 weeks along) so we immediately went to the hospital
(emergency Doc appoinment). Her doctor said it was not a contraction
and suggested that it was just a bad stretching pain. I'm not entirely
content with the...

I was really really sick 24/7 with my DD but now this time while I am
