Tall women are bottlefeeders by
[email protected]
Tall women with masculine traits seldom have children
10/13/2005 11:59
Tall women have fewer children because it is difficult for them to find lifetime
partners
Tall women are busy with making good careers and have fewer children, but this
is not explained with their failure to find good partners....

ack! too cute! by
Melania
So, while nursing, ds#2 popped off, looked up at me, and said "Ai!" So
I said, "hi!" He smiled and latched back on. A second later he popped
off and said, "Moo!" so I said moo back. He laughed and said moo again,
so I said moo again, and he giggled and latched back on. Then he popped
off and said...

Gentian Violet . . . ? by
Patagonia
I have tried Nystatin, Diflucan, Nystatin again, acidopholus powder and
grapefruit seed extract, and the child STILL has thrush. I am down to the
purple stuff - not happy about it, but I have to give it a shot. Anyone try
this? Any experience you can tell me about?
Thanks!

new weird behaviour by
Jo
Ok, so I'm learning to deal with the shorter sleeps Will is having. He
goes to sleep really easily, it's just a matter of keeping him asleep.
That's not the weird bit....
Today when he was getting close to his sleep time, he was getting
*really* wired... almost manic. Giggling, squealing,...

mixed feelings about total bottle rejection by
Melania
Well, it's official. After four months of taking EBM from a bottle
without too much fuss, ds#2 has decided that really boob is the only
way to go. The last three times he's been left with a bottle of EBM,
he's fussed and refused it most stubbornly. And don't get me started on
the failed attempts to...

white spots, not plugged ducts by
Anne Rogers
I have a couple of white spots on one of my nipples, they are not plugged
ducts as there is milk coming out of them and no blockage behind, they are a
little sore, but not excessively so, any ideas?

rash - roseola? by
Rebecca Jo
Alexander & I took a nap yesterday from 4 to 5 & when I woke up his cheeks
were all red & rash covered. First I thought it might be because I used a
lotion that had buttermilk in it (we're still not sure exactly what he's
allergic to) but I don't know. I gave him a bath but that didn't help.

1 year anniversary by

I've been away from the group for a while due to moving into my new
house, losing, then finding a job... but I have been checking in to
read now and then...
Anyway, Katy-bug just had her first birthday on 10/4, and we are still
going strong. She's eating a lot of table food now,...

FAO: Leslie by

Leslie -- A woman I "know" through blogging is training to be a
childbirth educator with Birth Works, and she's looking for positive
VBAC stories to share with her future clients. I figure you've got
about the most positive VBACs ever with your 13+ pounders; would you be
willing to let her use...

Lack of Wet Diapers by
Leslie
This is probably going to sound like a crazy question to be asking at
this time (with Lorelei being 11 months old!), but . . .
Lorelei's diapers are just never that wet. Never soaking, never
leaking, even overnight. Barely even damp to the touch, sometimes. (We
use cloth, btw, just regular...

Pumping for preemies by
Gorgon Park
Hi. I mostly lurk here, but I am trying to help my sister-in-law and
I feel over my head, so I thought I would ask here.
My sister in law gave birth to twins 2 weeks 3 days ago at 26.5 weeks
gestation. They were born via c-section because of an incompetent
cervix. The babies are holding their...

The appointments went really well. Baby is gaining weight and is
getting longer. I started walking about 20 min. for 4 days this past
week. I didn't have a c-section so my recovery was a lot faster. Baby
after 4 weeks was the exact same weight and height as my first baby
when she was born. Isn't...

Is there a difference in these two vitamins? Morgan would probably enjoy
