General parenting newsgroup reccs? by
Zucca4
You have all been so remarkably wonderful and encouraging with my breastfeeding
concerns. I'm hoping you can direct me to a newsgroup where I can post about
general things such as baby acne, sleep schedules etc...
What are your faves?
thanks,

bf heaven by
K.B.
I was at the mall a couple days ago and I found the best little nursing
area. I was so happy. It was a big enclosed area for kids and Moms to rest.
It had comfy couches all around and a rug for babies to crawl on. It had
toys for older kids to play on and baby books all over. Lots of germs too
I'm...

Anxiety and Pregnancy? by
New York Jen
Over the last couple of weeks I've been having panic attacks. I have
suffered with them in the past, but have not had any significant ones since
I was about 8 weeks pregnant with Laszlo, 22 months (go figure). I'm 28
weeks pregnant now and I've started to have them sporadically, with no...

Backache and nursing by
Rosie
I always nurse DD (14 months) lying down on our sides, facing each other. I
have never found this very comfortable but it does enable me to nap (or at
least keep my eyes shut) during the night. We now only nurse at night and
at nap time, i.e. always in this position.
I have never found this...

Anne Rogers
ds has just got really enthusiastic with solids and doesn't really demand
the breast, he's nearly 7 months weighs a little over 13lb and clearly
needs my milk but in the day time he can't be bothered to ask for it and
has increased his night wakings, he used to go 11 hours, last night he
went for...

Encouragement please! by
nichole
Hi. Been lurking here awhile. I have an 11 day old baby and I am having a
rough time. I must have been latching her on wrong when I was in the hospital
because I got blisters on the tips of my nipples. The blisters have popped and
I have crescent shaped scabs on the tops of both nipples. It is...

Eye Infection by
Lori
Im so sad. My 9 day old baby has a cold and an eye infection. Poor thing
she is stuffy but luckily not enough to make her not nurse. We have an appt
with her doctor tomorrow for her eye. Can someone please tell me if there
was a thread awhile back about putting breastmilk in the eye for...

Baby won't accept breast milk bottle after attempting formula - help! by

gropey toddler by
Ty
Bethany is 14 months old and is so gropey! When we are in public or at
someone's home her arm is down my shirt. (this happens at home alot also but
that's not as much of a problem) How do you stop it, besides wearing
turtlenecks? I will pull her arm out and tell her "not right now" or "wait
until...

More food questions by
Melissa
DD, who two weeks ago wouldn't eat anything (babyfood, that is) is now an
eating machine. She eats anything (except carrots) that we put in front of
her as long as she can do it herself. My question is, and I think I know the
answer, do we stop a meal because she's done eating or because it's been...

Three month round up by

OK, we have six and nine month threads so there ought to be a three
month one too, just to complete the multiples of three. :)
DS is not so much of a cuddle bug anymore - he used to sleep curled up
on my chest in the afternoon :( Last night he couldn't even go to
sleep until after I finally put...

dairy problem by

Lauren seems to have developed a problem with me consuming cow's milk.
FOr 7 weeks she had normal mustard yellow poop, and then overnight
they became a smelly frothy green. I thought at first it was a
foremilk/hindmilk imbalance, but after 2 weeks of green I didn't see
how that was possible. So for...

Milk production during growth spurt? by
Rebecca
Hi All,
Our 10 week old has just gone from waking once to waking twice in the
night (and is very irritable until fed) so I have assumed its a growth
spurt and am letting him feed as much and as long as he wants.
Thing is, he is suckling away but there is no milk (he then gets
frustrated). I...

Defective Right Side? by
KarenC
I am presently nursing my third son, having nursed the older two for over
two years each. It's been a mystery to me, over the years, why I always
eventually become a one-sided nurser, on the left. I am more comfortable
nursing on the left, it's true, but this time, in particular, I am...
