35 week update by [email protected]
This week the baby did move to head down, and even anterior too, good baby! My bp is inching up. It had come down with the aldomet, and it just keeps pushing up again. So, I have added things that lower it like cream of tartar, red rasperry leaf tea, hops and valerian. Each thing does seem to...

labour question by R&T
I am 39.5 weeks. My OB checked me today at 1:30 and said I was not dilated at all. About four hours later, I started feeling crampy, like menstrual or bowel movement type cramps. I'm also getting lots of BH contractions. Should I be worried? Could labour be starting even though I wasn't even...

Update to OK, NOW I'm cranky... by Chookie
I'm slightly less cranky. It appears that my Small Hospital routinely send patient notes to the Big Hospital at *37* weeks, not 34 weeks as my Ob said (they send them at 34 weeks for multiple births). The reason they hadn't appeared for my appointment was that they had only been posted two days...

MARIJUANA RELIEVES MORNING SICKNESS? Prefatory question... If MDs can illegally close birth canals up to 30% and illegally rob babies of up to 50% of their blood volume (this causes obvious harm to fetuses, see below).... Why can't pregnant women illegally smoke marijuana to treat their...

Cervix soft - OK? by CY
I've been having some odd symptoms today that I thought might be related to blood pressure (headache, swollen ankles, slight headache) but just checked it and it's fine (118/69). I have also felt quite a bit more discharge than normal today and checked my cervix and it's *really* soft and low (but...

Dixon Quads update by rangitotogirl
I've been following the Dixon quads updates. Sounds like they're having quite a rough time, especially the mum who is extremely ill. This is a family that looks like it needs our prayers. http://www.dixonquads.com/timeline_update.html

Sometimes there just isn't data.... by Jenrose
Well, my kiddo managed to be *that* unique. If there's a case report on an identical deletion, I've yet to see it. Which could be good--it may mean that other people with that deletion just arent' odd enough to get karotyped. Or she could be unusual in a way that just doens't happen...
