A Few More Questionds For Those With Experience by
Wrangler 4x4
My wife is cutting out dairy and eggs to help our gassy baby. Are
acidic or spicy foods ok? How about greasy or fried foods? Also, she
is starting to feed our baby from a bottle (her milk). How much should
he get per feeding if he is less than a month old? She will be
returning to work soon...

Hale check please by
[email protected]
Hi,
Could someone please check Hale's for Clindamycin (orally taken) for
both breastfeeding and pregnancy (if he has it). I've just been
scripted some for a gum infection.
I've done a google search and it looks okay but all the dates are pre
2000 or not for the oral verison. Also the denist...

More sleep angst! by
Libby Macdonald
DS is a week shy of 17 months. Yesterday he did not nap until about
3.30pm. He was up again at 5.30pm and stayed up until - I don't know -
well after midnight. He woke at about 7.30am (not counting his usual
middle of the night waking to feed). It is now 2.50pm and he has not yet
napped. I feel...

comment from nurse by
nina
So I make to mypostpartum check 12 weeks late (I've had incredibly bad
luck). When they do the intake and ask date of LMP, i say Jan 2003. So the
tech is all astounded and shocked, I tell her Im breastfeeding and she says
"Wow, I've never heard of that". (referring to lack of menses) I tell her...

6 month roll call by
Kathy
I was inspired by the "9 month ish roll call" posts to start a thread
for us 6 month-ers. I'd love to hear how you and your babies are
doing...
As for us, DD will be 6 months on Monday. She was exclusively BF until
4 days ago when we decided we couldn't wait anymore and had to try some
rice...

BF questions by
Naomi Pardue
My wife has been pumping
since 3/5/04 when our son was born. Her milk levels are still low
though. In the mornings she can pump about 3-4 ounces.
The evenings it
is only 1-2 ounces.
Is that per pumping session or total? And how often is she pumping? If that
is per session, that's really...

Weaning - Need Advice by
[email protected]
I'll be taking some medication in the next 4 weeks that they don't
recommend you use while breast feeding. This means DS (9months old)
needs to be weaned a lot sooner than planned :-( I've put off
taking the medication for 2months now.
What are the best ways of weaning? I've tried for the last...

BF questions by
Trigger Fish
Hello all,
New to the place so forgive me for not knowing all the terms and
acronyms. Our son was born a tad early (8 days) via C-Section due to
some complications. His birth weight was around 5lbs 15.9 ounces. Due
to jaundice the doctors were concerned about him eating enough and
pooping to...

Bottle mention in folksong by
Akuvikate
In O Brother Where Art Thou there's a wonderful lullaby (track 10 on
the soundtrack, called "Didn't Leave Nobody but the Baby") that I like
to sing to the Bug. After the CD had been missing for a while I just
found it and was able to listen to all the lyrics. There's one verse
that says "Honey in...

upset at nanny -- vent by
Irrational Number
Hello ladies, I'm unlurking to vent about my nanny.
I got the stomach flu Monday night, so I stayed home
Tuesday and Wednesday. So, in one of our casual
conversations, the nanny told me that when she's
taking a snack break, Pillbug mouthes so excitedly
that she GIVES HIM A BIT OF WHEAT BREAD!
I...
