Toddler with strange head pain by
Olaf
I have never posted here before but I was looking around on the web for some
information about my daughters' symptoms and thought I might throw this out
to a few groups to see if anyone has any ideas.
Basically Sunday morning our 2 year old daughter woke up in pain, swatting
at her head/ears and...

Dieting Mom, Underweight Kid by
Dally
Cross-posted.
I had to take Sammy to the doctor last night for what turned out to be
nothing. Anyway, while there we weighed him. He came in at 32.25
pounds at 60 months old. Sammy continues to be very underweight.
Sammy is getting taller and is rarely ill.
Children in our family tend to be...

Hi. I'm at my wit's end and am looking for . . . I don't really know .

My third child is now almost 18 months old and is "a handful." I've
never seen a baby like this except one nephew who has been diagnosed

Debate on spanking by

Recently, Chris made the claim that the spanking issue has been settled
and it is no longer a "controversy". This is repost is an effort to

We finally had success! This evening, after dh cleaned up his poopy
diaper,ds didn't want a new pullup. So, I introduced the waterproof

Constant fighting among young brothers by
MayflowerMomOf4
I have 4 children, ages 2,4,6 and 8. The two oldest are girls and the two
youngest are boys. My two girls are in school and I run a very busy
cleaning business from home. My issue is (besides the fact that I
probably have way too much on my plate and far too high expectations of
myself) that my...

Ear plugs for tubes by
Patti M.
Hello. I need some recommendations for ear plugs after having tubes put in
my daughter's ears. We are currently using the "Mack" brand, but I find
that they don't stick well in her ears and she is constantly pulling them
out. Any suggestions?
Thanks!

Dealing with bullies - a comment by
Rasmus Nielsen
In fact it is not quite fair to refer to these individuals as
"bullies" in the first place; hence rethorically making them out to be
'bad guys'. They are individuals who need medical help!
Bullying is a well known symptom of a variety of genetic defects such
as ODD, and CD, just to mention a few....

help by
Jennifer and Robert Howe
my dd keeps trying to eat the dogs rawlhide bone. I've tried putting it in
the other room but the dog brings it back in. If I get rid of it then he
will chew on her toys. Oh and I don't have a yard we take him for walks.

second hand (used) stuff for kids by

What is your opinion on buying used yard toys etc for kids? I would
like to get those plastic doll houses, a wagon and other sturdy big
toys for kids. These tend to be quite expensive if bought new. It it
ok to buy these used? Anything to watch out for?
