So OT it's not even funny: UK Moms please! by
CY
Can anyone please tell me the name of the River Island clothing store before
it was River Island? It's driving my friend and I nuts (we are ex-pats so
cannot just go into a store and ask!!).
Thank you!

What I Saw in Target Today by
New York Jen
So, since it was a rainy holiday here in NY, DH caved and agreed to take me
and Laszlo to Target so I could check out the new Liz Lange maternity
clothes along with a million other things I really don't need. As we were
walking through the very crowded aisles, we saw a momma with a...

It's not worth getting angry over! by
Lina
This morning I logged into my old support group of moms due the same time
as I was.
Their babies are younger or around the same age as Alena. Almost all of
them are feeding their babies rice cereal already!!!! Their pediatricians
told them not until 3-4 months, but they're doing it any way!!!
I'm...

Need Help -- suspecting a fraud by
Chookie
Not on this group, I hasten to say. I am on a list where a woman has popped
up who just doesn't sound right, and it brought back memories of the two
frauds some of us encountered on mkp a few years back. As a number of you
know quite a bit about birth stuff, I would like to run some info from...

Losing too much weight? by
Cheryl S.
DS is two days old and had a check up at the pediatrician two hours ago.
His birthweight was 8 pounds, 1 ounce, and at the doctor's office today,
weighed 7 pounds, 9 ounces - right after a bm. They asked me to bring
him back tomorrow morning, and said that if he has lost any more weight
they are...

pumping and holiday.... by
CountryJay
Why don't you pump and then keep it in the fridge.....It's good for 8 days
if kept in the fridge. Use it up while you are there, or use it when you
get home. You could probably keep it in the fridge and then freeze it when
you get home from your trip.
If you don't like that idea, then...

AP and sleeping, how? by
teapot
I suppose I am an attachment parent, basically I feed on demand, read
and play to my 13 week old a lot and include him in most everything I
do.
He slept well a couple of days ago but that was just a fluke, he is
back to grizzling all night unless he is in bed with us (he is in a 3
sided cot right...

HELP! I don't want my milk to dry up! by
Andrea
Hi everyone.
I was using the mini electric breastpump once a day for a freezer stash or
for DH to feed Kamron.
When Kamron was a few weeks old I was getting 7 fluid ozs from each breast,
but then Kami was feeding frequently. Now I only get 30zs per breast.
Kamron sleeps through the night now, as...

ds and the cows by
JennP
Cute little story. The Cow Parade is visiting our town for three months.
(www.cowparade.com West Hartford, CT) At the end of my street is the town
center where it is being held. We have been walking down every night to
check out the cows.
On our first visit Matthew was so excited at his first cow....

Peopl don't like holding there babies? by
CountryJay
Well, I do the same, bring my baby in his stroller. As long as he is
content I leave him be. Sometimes a mom needs a break and when he is a new
place he gets stimulation and enjoyment from watching others. I do speak
with him and talk to him while we go places, but it's nice to have...

there a chance that kids who are allergic to tomatoes might not be
allergic to sun-dried tomatoes? I can't find what the component is that

PIS Advanced by
KC
I don't know about the PIS Advanced, but there's a whole new kind of
pump called the Whittlestone Breast Expresser. Instead of pulling the
nipple in a tube, it massages the nipple, which is more like what a
baby does with their tongue.
I love it so much. I get more milk and no pain. My PIS had...

FAO: Charlotte by
Truffles
I was visiting a friend at VGH in July. The nursing support seems to be
better. Is that your doing?
The only thing that stood out though is the "We'll take the baby to the
nursery so you can rest." They're still offering that.

Will milk supply rebound--toddler? by

DS is almost 15 mos and has been only bf twice daily.
But, since yesterday, he hasn't wanted to eat any solids....then today he
comes down with a tummy bug. So, he just wants to nurse.....will I be able
to make enough milk for him now that we've only been down to 2? Is there
something I need to...
