Clomid or progesterone? by
Ilse Witch
My first cycle of medical tests and checks is coming to an end, and so far
so good: nothing has been found. I had a good ovulation, bang on day 14.
I'm still waiting for the results from yesterday's endometrial biospy,
which will come in later this week. If they find an out of phase
endometrium...

Placement of placenta vs. ease of birth by
Cathy
A friend and I were talking yesterday, and got me thinking. Apart from
placenta praevia, is there anything to indicate that a particular placental
placement means an easier (or harder) birth? I was just wondering if it
meant the baby is unable to get into the optimum position etc.
Thanks,
Cathy

Does this sound like sciatica? by
Leslie
It sounds similar to the sciatica I had with #3. I could hardly walk at all. I
went to the chiropractor twice, and I was cured! It was like a miracle.

swimming late pregnancy by
Indyrah
I'm not due for another 8+ weeks but am curious about swimming in the last
couple of weeks. My friend jokingly told me she was banning me from her
pool the last two weeks so my water didn't break in her pool. With my
first, my water broke in the shower and I didn't know it until after I went
to...

redelurk :) by
B. Felix
Hi -- I don't post much, mostly because of laziness about using
Google, but I have been lurking on and off during my now 33-week
pregnancy. I don't know if they will read this, but I was very happy
to see the news of (Sophie's) Nolan's birth and "Not My Real Name's"
current pregnancy :)
Anyway,...

signs of impending labor by
ted
Did you get any clues or signs of labor that turned out to be true?
The first time I remember being incredibly tired the whole day. I went
to bed that night and I woke up next morning when my water broke.
I hear that the belly button becomes innie again, the stomach becomes
flat instead of round...

piles of expired messages by
Vicky Bilaniuk
Has anyone else had a bunch of messages expire on them? I'm talking
recent messages that got posted today (July 22, 2004). I'm just going
through the unread messages and so far probably about 6 or 7 of them,
all from different posters, have been expired (so I never got to read
them, sadly).

Harry's birth story by
P Harris
I will try to keep this not *too* rambly or burbly ;-), with notes on
the things I Wish I'd Known In Advance.
Last thursday morning, at 39w 1d, I started getting cramps and
low-back pain (baby was posterior for most of the past 2+ months
despite my best efforts to convince it otherwise) and it...

houseguests by

Okay, here's my question - My DH's parents live overseas. They visit
us several times a year, and they always stay with us as we have a
guest room. They are easy to deal with, but they usually stay 3 weeks,
and even though they are very low maintenance (they used to live here,
so they go visit...
