Leaky breasts in pregnancy by
cjra
Everything I've read says it's normal to leak in the last month of
pregnancy, but how normal is it *not* to leak?
Did you leak? and if not, any association with when/how well your milk
came in?
I leaked ~week 22-25, but nothing since then (now at 38w)

Large breasts and LCs by
Elaine
Ok, if it weren't for glassboobs rambling aobut being unable
to breastfeeding because hers were so large, this probably
wouldn't have occured to me. OK, it probably would have
occured to me about an hour after birth, instead of at 25
weeks.
I've got really big breasts. My current guess is that...

When does your toddler sleep? by
Sara
We've recently had more luck getting our 15 month old to sleep at
night, but we're still working out the kinks. One problem is that he
wants to stay up late at night -- he falls asleep at 10 pm at the
earliest, and that's after a struggle. He wakes up for the day between
6 and 7 am, and takes one...

Cloth diaper advise needed by
peggy-o
I recently started using cloth diapers on my son who is now 6 months
old. The first time I used them his runny breastmilk poop got all over
his dipaer cover. Any advise on how I can prevent that so I don't need
to change the diaper cover every time he poops (which is almost
everytime he eats and...

Brag (warning: sleeping thru night ment.) by
Joy
My 3-month-old boy slept for 9 hours straight two nights ago! (His usual
stretch is 7 hours without waking/eating--and he usually sleeps another 2
after a snack.)
He also takes a 3 hour nap most afternoons (plus one or two shorter naps in
the morning).
Mind you, I know this is not a result of my...

breast pump effectiveness by
ted
Why they won't/can't make a breastpump as effective as a baby? I use
lactina at work but I heard even that isn't really as effective as
nursing. I know the formula companies just won't make a good one but
what about Medela et al? I for one think that their pumps are
overpriced so why not make them...

I want to stop breast feeding by
Jolande
Hi,
My name is Jolande, my son is 20 months old and still breastfeeding.
As lovely as it has been, it is really getting on my nerves now (god
that makes me sound horrible), and I really want to stop. He is, of
course, not in agreement with this plan and I thought that maybe I
could find some...

Yes, it's an L2, approved by the AAP for use in BF mothers. Half-life, by

Flu Questions by
Leslie
All four of my children have the flu. I thought I was getting it too, because
I was coughing, aching, had a runny nose, and had a fever of 100, but the next
day I had no fever, just a cough and runny nose. IS it possible I could have
such a short bout of flu, or do I have something else?
If a bf...

So frustrated by
Cheryl S.
DS nursed once last evening on the left side only when I tried lying
down, and once during the night, but this morning is still refusing,
even when lying down. No matter what I do, he will not nurse on my left
side. He won't even latch. He just screams around the nipple. This is
the third day...

Made my first goal :) by

My daughter turned one on Friday, and we are still nursing up a storm!
misc.kids.breastfeeding is where I first realised what an important thing
breastfeeding is, that it can be hard, and that I might need to persevere.
While we've had a pretty uneventful year, and I have mostly been lurking,

Strep throat, Dr says not to bf... by
Jodie
for at least 24 hours, or while I have fever.
Symptoms started yesterday morning, including fever. I saw the doctor
this morning. My reasoning says that she (dd, 10 1/2 months) has
already been exposed and she *needs* the antibodies from me. He (dr)
says I'm not making antibodies yet. I think...

UPDATE: Pulling at breast (Cracked nipple advice needed) by
Jodie
Well, as you can tell from the subject line, the football hold did not
turn out to be my saving grace. She saw it as an opportunity to not
only pull my nipple out with one hand, but two! (stinker!!)
However, I am happy to report that, after trying the football for a
couple of days, we have gone...
