oh no! by Angela
Ok, so I've had an interesting development. I am currently 7 weeks pregnant and am getting married in 9 days. But my problem is that I've noticed that I have either poison ivy or oak in the corners of my lips and on my eyelids. I've had this several times before on my face and I seem to be...

First ultrasound question... by Jill
The first ultrasound they do, at 8-10 weeks, is this an abdominal or a vaginal ultrasound? I am just wondering since they didn't specify but I am guessing they would have to do a vaginal one first? Then the remaining ones they do if all is normal, those are abdominal, right? Jill

Pay Extra for Private Room? by Usenet Fan
We're planning to have the baby at a hospital, attended by midwives. Normal stay would be two nights for a vaginal delivery, four for a C-section. 100% covered by insurance if we have the standard double room. But I just found out I have the option of requesting, and paying extra ($228 US) per...

Well, looks like my ob is back at work. The receptionist called me to make an appointment for Oct 2nd at 3:15. The receptionist said that I would have to make a different appointment for an exam and that this was just a follow up. She asked if I was still bleeding and if I passed any tissue...

Petite Maternity Online or Catalogs??? by Whit6176
Hi all, I've looked through old postings on the site and didn't find a whole lot of information. I'm looking for good online sites or catalogs for petite (short lengths) maternity clothes. I'm mostly looking for pants in shorter inseams. I'm 5'3 and most regular jeans or pants are WAY too long on...

to drug or not to drug... by the Princess
Okay, I've just got to ask: what's the big deal about "natural childbirth?" I really don't understand why completely doing without pain medication is such a beautiful, wonderful, spiritual, *superior* experience or why other women look at me like I've just killed their pet when I answer that I do,...
