One side of the coin. It is also, if I understood Ric Werme correctly,

Lemons? They don't run over cliffs. They hang from Trees until they

Pregnant and has History of Actute Pancreatitis by
Alex
Hello from Montreal,
Crossposting here following the kind suggestion of CY in m.k.pregnancy.
My wife has had five episodes of acute pancreatitis in the last five
years, each of which required her to be hospitalized for about three
weeks. She has a 3-cm (1.25 inch) pseudocyst on the tail of...

Demanding baby. by
MCranEY05
LOL.. Yesterday Shay went in private to poop. She is a shy pooper :) Anyhow,
she walks into the kitchen, grabs a diaper, and tells me...." I poop!" I wasn't
sure if I heard her right. I asked her to say it again. She then yells "I
POOPED!" and tossed the diaper at me. LOL--17m and making demands...

Define the "Terrible Twos" for me? by
Jim Beaver
What do the "terrible twos" look like? I'd like an observational
description of behavior that could be considered normal/typical of the
phase. What are the extremes of normal behavior? How does one tell the
difference between normal "two-ness" and a serious problem? I would
appreciate informed...

altism by
Patty
My brother's five year old son has a less than twenty word vocabulary.
He does some rocking, but very little. He does pay attention to
outside sources, as in he fights over toys. They have seen a number
of doctors. Some say he is borderline altistic. I wish we could do
something to help him. I...

OT - Netscape and Killfiles by

Is anyone else who uses Netscape 7.0 having problems with
some of the commands? Before I upgraded I had a healthy
killfile and could mark ignore any thread that I didn't want
to see. On this version of netscape, though, neither of
those work, making misc.kids a hard group to read right now

Sleeping throught the night. by
esther323
I'm trying to get my almost 18 month old to sleep through the night. 2.5
weeks ago I started her on a strict nap schedule (for a couple months before
that I mostly just let her sleep in the car while cause we were always out,
now we stay home more). And for the last 2-3 months she has been on...

Review: The Cooler (*** 1/2) by
Steve Rhodes
THE COOLER
A film review by Steve Rhodes
Copyright 2003 Steve Rhodes
RATING (0 TO ****): *** 1/2
In Wayne Kramer's THE COOLER, Bernie Lootz, in another brilliant performance
by William H. Macy, is not merely unlucky; he is "kryptonite on a stick."

Dodge Caravan ignition problems by
Leigh Menconi
I know this isn't a car newsgroup but I figured a lot of others here might
have Caravans, too. We just had to have our ingition cylinder replaced and
the guy that came to tow the van to the dealer said that he sees this same
problem "all the time" and that the cars should be recalled. According...

Having only one child by
Joanne
Hi,
I have one 21 month old girl. I'd like to hear some opinions from
others. I cannot have any more children and I am feeling terribly
guilty for not giving my daughter someone. Our family (including
extended family) is very small. She really does not have any cousins
or anyone in the family...

I'm scared to death of my child's seizures! by
Patty
My child's doctor can not seem to tell me if my son is epileptic. He
has had just one seizure, an abnormal EEG, and a good C-scan. The
doctor prescribed medicine for 2 years for him, he is now 10. If this
really seems to be a one time thing like they seem to think it is, why
put this child on...
