How can I make my 3 year old eat vegetables. She has a little constipation problem and does not want to eat any vegetables. I tried boiling them, mashing them etc, but she just does not want them. I know that she needs fiber and vitamins but raw vegetables are like a taboo for her!

I am a stay at home mom (so she's not in daycare) and my daughter has no health problems, but when she does get sick - she gets really sick (high fevers,...

Age for stopping high chair? by Nancy P
I know everyone's different, but at what age did your children stop using the highchair? DD, almost 20 months, is still going strong, although she used her booster for about 2 weeks when she was 17 months. One day she stopped wanting to sit in it. Anyway, I'm just trying to get a...

Bright 2nd grader & school truancy / part-time home-school? by Vicki
Today we received a warning letter for truancy for our 2nd grader. The principal said she was concerned about dd's absences. I am not concerned about dd's absences--she is bright, she knows the material I don't think the teacher is concerned. But the principal said dd is only allowed 5 excused...
