What a morning! by
Cathy
After doing the HPT, I phoned the midwifery centre, and the one I spoke to
said I could go on in, and she, or someone else, would organise the blood
work. So I went for a visit, and signed up with her, and even got my folic
acid on prescription - heaps cheaper! And now I can seriously...

it a shock, or a much-awaited blessing? How many pregnancy tests did
you have to take before you believed it? :) Any symptoms yet?
For our TTC members, how is the journey going? Need to vent, cry, yell
a bit? Feeling...

Pregnancy and weight
More Americans than ever have a weight problem. So it's not surprising
that more women find themselves a few sizes bigger at the beginning of
pregnancy than they would like.

I have a crazy question that I haven't found an answer to elsewhere on
the web. (Maybe it's in this group's archives and I just haven't found
it.)
Yesterday I went in for amniocentesis, during which an ultrasound was
done and my approximate due date was calculated. (Looks like the fetus
is about...

Question about Pregnancy Test result by
ModernMiko
OK. So we aren't really trying (we were) but it's not outside the realm of
possibility as the deed was done (;-) near ovulation. AF was due today (if
I run on time which I usually am close to 28 days). I've been feeling a bit
crappy like I was PMSing but also a little "bleh" and the boobs have...

My name is Kate, 22 yrs old. My husband and I are planning to get pg

My baby shower... by
Jill
....from my former coworkers was Weds. We got a lot of stuff! First of all I
had been worried about getting too much and tons of the same items that we
wouldn't be able to use, and that didn't happen at all. (Someone else had
complained that at their shower they were given piles of bottles,...

I've gone off my prenatals by
Vicky Bilaniuk
OK forget it, I give up. They make me feel like hell. I've put up with
them for long enough. I've gone on and off of them repeatedly (due to
forgetfulness), and now I want to just stay off (since it seems like my
tummy feels 1000x better when I'm off the pills). I've heard that some
people use...

HEARTBEAT by
Andrea J. Richardson
Today was an exciting day. My husband and I got to hear the heartbeat. It
was very cool to get to hear it. We even heard the baby move around a
little bit. The due date is back to September 28, instead of October 2.
Anyways, I just wanted to share my good news.

nabothian cyst and ttc question by

I have at least one Nabothian cyst (it's a small cyst on the surface of the
cervix, harmless and I"m told it won't affect fertility.) My question is,
whether anyone has experience to the contrary. The cyst is right on the
edge of the cervical opening, and it feels like it may partially occlude...
