Advice on cycle please
 

I have a suspicion that I might be pregnant but I first wanted some
advice on whether I am reading my cycle wrong.

I have a mostly regular 28 day cycle where my period starts on a
Sunday. In the last year or so, I have only been late twice (by 2 days
max), and the next month my cycle would start on the Sunday again.

I am currently using the diaphragm so am aware that I could be
pregnant.

On Sunday, I had some spotting which made me think my period was
starting but since then nothing, apart from slight cramping. I
double-checked my diary and found that last month I was 2 days late and
started Tuesday. So I am thinking that I am either 5 days late (if
assuming Sunday as my due on date), or 3 days late if Tuesday. Can I
do a pregnancy test now and get accurate results, or should I leave it
for a few more days?

You can get early pregnancy tests if you're in the UK, I'm not sure about
the US. Go along to your local superstore like Tesco's and browse their
pregnancy tests and get the one that says it can spot from the 1st day
you're late. You might only get a faint positive if you are pregnant so if
it come up negative and in a week you still don't have a period then test
again.

You are late enough for an HPT to be accurate. Take one and quit
guessing!
