can somebody recommend a good doctor &hospital to do amniocentesistest?
 
If your OB wants you to have an amnio, then wouldn't he/she send you to
the specialist of his choice? Doesn't U of R have a medical center? That
would probably be a good choice if you have to choose for yourself. But
as another respondant said, it really doesn't seem you have any
indications for and amnio, so why risk miscarriage or other damage to
the baby for an unnecessary test?

....I searched the U of R med center site, looks like you need to see a
perinatologist (ob who specializes in high risk pregnancy), and it looks
like Highland has a Perinatology Center, so that would probably be the
best place to go, but again, why do you feel you need this risky,
invasive precedure when your indicator test and your age say otherwise?
