Flu shot destroys baby Saba's life

How do you know that the benefits outweigh the risks?

because far more children survive to adulthood than happened 50 years
ago before vaccines.

I don't think there have ever been any studies to compare the
overall health of vaccinated children against unvaccinated.

seriously? go take a walk through *any* pre-1940s cemetary and look at
all the dead children. whole family groups dying within days or weeks
of each other.

Yes, we are all trained to think that vaccinations are beneficial
but then there's a steep rise in autism that has never been
adequately explained.

i was born before most of the modern vaccines. i'm autistic. my
brothers, my father & most likely my grandfater are also very likely
autistic. try again, only look at heredity this time.

The Geek Syndrome. Look it up.

yes, exactly.

Sadly, the flu shot was most likely a coincidence and had nothing to do
with the child's death. But it is still very sad that the child died.
And, that the child's death is being used against life-saving vaccines.

Unfortunately, people remember unfounded fears, as is seen in Minnesota:

Hello All

I have no desire to become involved with theoretical arguments, but in the case of Saba it is true that her reaction was caused by the flu vaccine. This story is from Perth Western Australia and if you would like varification I'm sure you can search and find stories of the "bad batch" of the flu vaccine that was given to babies and children here last year - hundreds of children displayed reactions, many of those hospitalised (Saba's being the most serious) within hours of recieving the shot.

So while I have no desire to debate the positive or negative aspects of vaccination, in this case, it is absolutely certain that her injuries are a result of her vaccination.

Thankyou

Absolutely certain: Not likely:

Either way, I am very sad for the girl and her family. And, nothing we
do in life is totally without risk. However, the benefits of vaccines
clearly outweigh the risks.

My believe is that we should have a Flu vaccination.
It is very very important.

Well this really is a sad story and I must say that incidents like this should be prevented. Parents do what their doctor ask them to do because they believe that medicines that he'll give would good for their child. Its doctor's responsibility to make it sure that what medicines is he giving to a child and what would be its side effects.
