Does anyone keeps stats (like the QDN generated stats in alt.mothers)
for this channel? If so can you post them? I'm not an Agent user.

No, no one does that here. You can, however, research through google. That
can be somewhat time consuming, though.

There is a microsoft website that does stats on all the groups, I
believe.

Interesting. I guess they stopped after 08/31/2003 because you can't
put in 09/30/2003. Or perhaps they have not collated September's data
yet. It used to work for the end of any month.

I can do them here too if people like (Im the a.m stats publisher), wont
take me much more effort at all. I'll warn you that my reliability has
slipped a little, but I can get back on track :)
Tell you what, I'll count the yes and no answers to this thread and if
there are more yes's than nosand no arguments that convince me its a bad
idea I'll start this Sunday. Would you like the bandwidth hog list to be
included?

You may want to explain a bit more what the stats are as there are a number
of folks reading mk who do not read am and may have no idea what is being
discussed in this thread.

the idea of having detailed analysis of my posting habits being made public.
I know that anyone could work them out via google etc, but I don't want
things made too easy for them.

Not surprisingly, I agree with Penny. Besides being a complete waste
of bandwidth, what is the point of making it even easier for spammers
to track posting habits. I know this is a big A.M. thing, and it's a
huge ego trip for some of the posters who get to the top of the list,
but (thank G*D) this isn't AM and most of the regular posters here
have more sense than to care about who posted the most posts and than
have yet another stupid discussion about it every month. Keep it in
fluff central, please. HUGS!!!
