9 year old cant go to bathroom
There was another thread in misc.kids.health about another 9-year old who
had soiling problems. I would suggest going to google and reading that thread. While soiling and not pooping seem to be opposite problems, they are often symptoms of the same problem. There were also links in the thread that may help you. Jeff "Dawn Urbina" wrote in message ... Hi Dawn
What isn't clear from your message is whether your daughter is having difficulty when she tries to go or whether she just "won't" go. Especially if it is the former, it may be, at least in part, due to dehydration. Over 90% of Western adults are chronically dehydrated and this can cause all sorts of problems. If your daughter is drinking less than 3-4 pints of water (not coke, not coffee, not orange juice, but pure, unadulterated water) per day, it is probable that she is dehydrated, and this could either be causing the problem or making an existing problem worse. Water is nature's medicine, and it is free! Assuming there are no physiological problems (which your doctor should have checked out), it may help to add a supplement which assists in bowel cleansing, such as Cassie Tea, http://www.all-natural-health-supple...html#cassietea Puri Tea http://www.all-natural-health-supple...s.html#puritea or a regular bowel supplement like Feelin Good. http://www.all-natural-health-supple...ts.html#feelin Hope this helps Brian www.all-natural-health-supplements.com "Dawn Urbina" wrote in message ... Can you provide peer-reviewed research to back your view? I think you way off base and incorrect. All the best, Jeff |

Is she getting enough fiber in her diet... some children need more then the
recommended amount and it is alright to give her some metamucil or other high fiber suppliment to help her if this is the reason. Is the problem that she won't go or tries and can't ?? If she just won't go, for some reason...you need to find out what that reason is... think about seeing a counselor or phycologist for help, she may have some issues she is having trouble dealing with..( at school ??) and need some professional assistance to help her deal. Good Luck "Dawn Urbina" wrote in message ...
