In my last pregnancy I did not have my diabetes under good control
during the first 2 weeks after conception (until 4 weeks LMP). Even
though I already knew that most deformities caused from diabetes
happened in the organ formation period (from 5 to 8 weeks lmp), I was
still pretty paranoid the entire pg about it. My dd was thankfully
born perfectly healthy!
