Aluminum hydroxide ... These two compounds are used as they are extremely
safe at the doses used. Animal/laboratory vaccines use much more potent
adjuvents (freunds, for example), but these are not used in people as the
risk of a sever reaction is too high. Making vaccines without adjuvents
would be like making bread without yeast.
