Default Mini world strikes again

Things are going pretty well up here at this child support services place.
The job is nice and quiet because all the executives are out on vacation
quiet is always welcome.
I got three more months here then who knows.

I interviewed for the director job just to make my boss miserable.

She is retiring on the 3rd, but still insisted on coming in this morning at
8 (she usually comes in at 9:30) just to make sure that she continues to
have a hand in managing this place.

I talked to someone in HR and she says the job is not preselected.
But I talked someone else who says it is.
I am not sure who else applied, but the interviews lasted from 8 to 12, half
an hour apiece, so that suggests about 8 candidates.
Since they set up the interviews the day before, I bet some of the
candidates had to be interviewed after the holidays.
I was the first one, so it's tough to be the "calibration" score.

This one person I know, they won't hire her. She is an EEO complaint
waiting to happen if they don't.

I once saw her at something or other where they were serving donut holes.
I am not making this up and she was serious.
She was telling me how hard it was to make donut holes, because they have to
punch each one out of an existing donut.
I wanted to ask her, and so how do they make them so round, do they use a
burnishing machine?

I just let it go at that.

The next day, I heard the blind person telling a great story about how she
accompanied them to dinner at a buffet restaurant.

She asked how the dog was going to see the buffet food to figure out what
she wanted to eat.

She actually thinks that leader dogs also eat at restaurants while the
people do.
