Ugh! I had that happen to me after my first m/c. Actually, it was so long
after that I had just had my second m/c and the aquaintance said, "How's the
baby?" thinking the baby from the first m/c was born. She was mortified and
I was too, but I knew it would happen eventually because there's no way she
would have known and I hadn't seen her.
