Torts Defamation & Invasion of Privacy False Light Privacy
In order to recover for false light, a plaintiff must plead and prove (1)
that defendant placed him in a false light before the public, (2) that the
false light in which he was placed would be highly offensive to a reasonable
person, and (3) that defendant acted with actual malice.
