Oh, rubbish. Actually the average is by four months, I think, but it's only a
rough rule of thumb. My son was 9 lbs. 5 oz. at birth and didn't double until
closer to a year, but at four months I'm pretty sure he was more than double
the *average*-sized newborn.

As long as you're not forcing him to eat, which you're not, he sounds perfectly
fine.
