many fold since he left scientific research in preference for PR and
writing fiction.

Maligned by the medical establishment and mainstream
media, Wakefield endeavors to set the record straight in Callous Disregard.

Funny, why didn't he bother doing so in the GMC hearing? Why didn't
he present this evidence to the GMC? Why didn't he give the parents a
voice and call any of the parents in his defence? Might it be because
he was too frightened of what might have come out in cross
examination?

He could attend a protest outside the GMC building but not walk inside
to face the tribunal decision - an act typical of his evasion of
responsibility. Callous disregard is an appropriate name for this bit
of PR for that is all he has ever shown.

Hopefully it will be printed on soft paper so it will find a use
hanging from a nail in isolated little sheds.

While explaining what really happened, he calls out the organizations and
individuals that are acting not for the sake of children affected by autism,
but in their own self-interests.

His work depended entirely upon the detection of measles virus in the
gut. It is now beyond doubt that none was detected. Later studies
jointly published by Wakefield and the Dublin pathologist John O’Leary
claiming to have demonstrated measles virus in bowel biopsies taken
from children with autism have been authoritatively dismissed as
invalid, if not fraudulent.

He has built an industry and a career upon falsehood. What is worse,
as part of the MMR litigation in the UK he knew of the evidence
showing his claim about measles virus in the gut was false years
before the information was allowed to be made public, yet he did
nothing. Does he explain this in his book? It would seem unlikely as
he still relies upon this patently false work.
