I have a terrific kid. His age is two years and two months. He is
healthy and very active. He loves to watch kids cartoons, outing like
any healthy child. However, he hasn't started to use language. He is
not even using words like Mama and Baba. My doctors say some kids start
to talk very late. But I am just begging to worry.

I can offer some reassurance. Growing up, our next door neighbor's youngest
(of 6) didn't talk until she went to kindergarten. Everyone was worried about
her and assumed she had developmental delays. Today, she has a PhD and works
as a newspaper columnist.

Guess she was just waiting until she had something to say ;-)

Of course, continue to consult your Dr., who will help determine whether you
need to test hearing, etc -- but basically it sounds like the advice you've
gotten is sound -- TTSP (this, too, shall pass)

Who could take a day or two of Henry (12, and every bit the smart aleck
back-talking adolescent) not being able to talk ;-)
