How on earth do you work that out when the report you have mentioned
says :-

"The overall prevalence of ASD in adults in England was estimated to
be 1.0%. Rates were higher in men than women and no association with
age was found. The lack of an association with age means that the data
provides no support for there being an increase in prevalence in
recent decades."

The author of this commentary was John Stone, an active supporter of
Wakefield and a prolific anti-vaccination "activist". Perhaps
deciding the report said something entirely different from reality
should be expected.

Dr Carol Stott commented on the methodology in Age of Autism:-
