enforcement. Children in the state's dependency system are often
already
victims of very sad, very traumatic situations, and to learn a
child
has
been revictimized is heart-wrenching.

``When we learned that one of the children in our care may have
been
assaulted, we acted quickly. When our investigation resulted in
verified
findings, we immediately contacted the police.''

WRONG!!!

When an allegation of molest of a child in FC is made to DCF they
should IMMEDIATELY notify the police. And the investigations can
run
concurrently.

BUT - - - ALAS Dan they often don't and try their hardest to sweep
the
**** under the rug. CPS for some reason has considerable paranoia
about
admitting to ANY flaws in their system. We could go ON about how
hard
Florida's agency fought keeping quiet that a foster father with a
LONG
LONG LONG LONG LONG history of sex with kids (some of us even DARE
call
him a pedophile) that after a child placed in his care was
admitted to
the
hospital with SEVERE vaginal injuries was placed by the agency
RIGHT
BACK
with him and he did it AGAIN! Yean Dan we ALL are just agog at CPS
and
it's INFALLIBILITY!

WHAT should I have done? Wasn't hired in it, just contacted about it
after it was over.

However the case got lots of notoriety
because the father of the child was a reporter for the Sun Sentinel.

way, after CPS sent the child BACK to the pervert (foster father) she

AGAIN injured vaginally and you can feel GOOD about that?
